Don't forget who you are
In this age of Metrosexuals, Homosexuals, Global Warming, globalism and political correctness,
it seems to me the leftists in our government fail to realize who they are claiming to rule over.
We're not Europe, Africa, Latin America or Asia. We're Americans. We were forged from Men and
Women of Iron who braved a wide sea and uncertain landscape to create settlements, towns, and
bustling cities. We are the scions of those who landed on these shores, matchlocks, flintlocks, and dreams well in hand, and cleared the wilderness to build our homes. When it became inconvenient to be part of the British Empire, we struck out on our own, trying to build a new land, again forged in fire and bloodshed. The Settlers did this without Welfare, without global organizations, and certainly without worrying about satisfying minority counter-cultures. When the time came to move west,
Americans packed up their belongings and their hopes in covered wagons and blazed trails over the west that can still be seen today. They didn't worry about the environmental impact of homesteading or the construction of the railroad, and you know what? They used more fossil fuels than we did, in the form of coal, and you know what? The Earth was not baked black like an over-baked cookie. When war came to our shores, Americans struck back with fury and speed, not worrying about the UN okaying our right to protect our freedoms from the Redcoats in 1812.
Teddy Roosevelt did not look over any rules of engagement when he charged up San Juan hill.
There were no UN inspectors to stop Hitler, and yet somehow, Hitler fell. As the liberals try harder and harder to turn America into the same cesspool Europe has become, remember this. We're not Europeans anymore. We're Americans. We were the ones who chose not to be Serfs, slaves of the government. Our enemies call themselves "Progressives" Had they had their way, we would still be fighting England for our freedom as we waited for UN okay to defend Lexington and Concord. We are the descendants of pilgrims, seafarers, travellers, adventurers, patriots, soldiers, refugees, frontiersfolk.
Historically, America pulls itself by its bootstraps, despite what the anti-American elements in the left would like us to believe.

They didn't worry about the environmental impact of homesteading or the construction of the railroad, and you know what?
- they overfarmed the land, cleared the vegetation that held the soil in place, and triggered the Dust Bowl out of what would have been just another dry spell, displacing enough soil to fill half the grand canyon and leading to dust storms that reached New York and London, causing a food shortage that deepened the depression even further and led to starvation across America....
but do go on
They used more fossil fuels than we did, in the form of coal
The settlers did not use more coal than the Industrial Revolution and mode4rn-day China and Pakistan
not worrying about the UN okaying our right to protect our freedoms from the Redcoats in 1812.
-UN didn't exist. we did enlist the help of the French, though, who wanted a chance to stick it to the British. Also, we had Prussian generals train our troops- it was with international aide that we fought for independence
Our enemies call themselves "Progressives"
-You mean like the original Republican Party, which fought hard for social progress, ended slavery (for numerous reasons, yes), brought the Civil Rights Acts about, and ended the Black Codes?
Had they had their way, we would still be fighting England for our freedom as we waited for UN okay to defend Lexington and Concord. We are the descendants of pilgrims, seafarers, travellers, adventurers, patriots, soldiers, refugees, frontiersfolk.
-all of whom were social liberals in their day, challenging authority and rejecting the existing power structure and status quo. The Tories were conservatives by definition, seeking to preserve the rule of the king and keep the damned yankees from destroying the colonies in their fanatical calls for violent revolution and independence. The Patriots were the most extremist liberals of their day, challenging the king and the socio-political structure and atmosphere of their day. calling for political and social revolution
The Pilgrims were similar in that they rejected the power of the king and church, throwing aside established doctrine and calling for such extreme measures and the establishment of their own colonies so they could practice their religion and not that of the Anglican Church
America comes from a heritage of progress, liberty, rebellion, and the destruction of old, oppressive systems and the casting aside of socio-political and religious dogma in the interest of liberty, freedom, and ever-greater equality. It is a nation of revolutionaries, both ideological and on the battlefield

So much for your "Patriotism" JB.... When you can get out yankee-doodled by a tory, it's time to cash in your citizenship and leave town.
If you don't like America or what it is, leave!

So... you love kings and want to destroy the Republic to form a theocratic monarchy.. yet you challenge my patriotism and have to gall to saay 'if you don't like America for what it is'?
Oh, the hypocrisy :frown1:

Taking a bath and wearing clean clothes, makes one clean. Men getting facials and manicures, now that is effeminate.

Brad Paisley put it best
When you see a deer you see Bambi
And I see antlers up on the wall
When you see a lake you think picnic
And I see a large mouth up under that log
You're probably thinking that you're going to change me
In some ways well maybe you might
Scrub me down, dress me up but no matter what
I'm still a guy
When you see a priceless French painting
I see a drunk, naked girl
You think that riding a wild bull sounds crazy
And I'd like to give it a whirl
Well love makes a man do some things he ain't proud of
And in a weak moment I might walk your sissy dog, hold your purse at the mall
But remember, I'm still a guy
I'll pour out my heart
Hold your hand in the car
Write a love song that makes you cry
Then turn right around knock some jerk to the ground
'Cause he copped a feel as you walked by
I can hear you now talking to your friends
Saying, "Yeah girls he's come a long way"
From dragging his knuckles and carrying a club
And building a fire in a cave
But when you say a backrub means only a backrub
Then you swat my hand when I try
Well, what can I say at the end of the day
Honey, I'm still a guy
I'll pour out my heart
Hold your hand in the car
Write a love song that makes you cry
Then turn right around knock some jerk to the ground
'Cause he copped a feel as you walked by
These days there's dudes getting facials
Manicured, waxed and botoxed
With deep spray-on tans and creamy lotiony hands
You can't grip a tacklebox
With all of these men lining up to get neutered
It's hip now to be feminized
I don't highlight my hair
I've still got a pair
Yeah honey, I'm still a guy
Oh my eyebrows ain't plucked
There's a gun in my truck
Oh thank God, I'm still a guy

Which means you are no patriot, for a patriot loves the Republic. You belong in a nation like Iran: they are everything you want except the wrong religion

Nope, just a pretty-boy
JB: And you need to be in Europe, where the Republic has reached its logical conclusion, a Socialist state.
The rise of the oligarchy is the destruction of the republic
