CONGRESSMAN, GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE, SUFFERS WRATH OF ANGRY CROWD FOR VOTING FOR BAILOUT, SUPPORTING STIMULUS (http://www.palmettoscoop.com/2009/04/17/barrett-booed-at-greenville-tea-party/)
The message from folks in Greenville to Congressman Gresham Barrett was clear Friday evening: Voters are mad about the $700 billion bailout he voted for and the massive government stimulus package he is now supporting.

Barrett, a Republican, attempted to speak before an estimated crowd of 4,000 people at a Post Tax Day Tea Party in the Upstate only to be greeted by boos from most everyone in attendance. Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QsY2r7HbTM)

I LOVE THAT! It really should send a strong message to others. We're going to vote a whole lot of these crooks out of office. Let them be the ones to know what it's like to lose their jobs.

Wow. That was beautiful! :clap1::clap1::clap1:

The masses gathered, for all their reasons, and they spat upon them all

Yes. It was. These tea parties will tell these people what we think.

Good. I think we need to completely uproot everyone in government right now, but at least this shows there are still some right-minded folks among us.

That was one issue I had with these parties. I didn't want ANY of these current or former politicians speaking. No Newt, no Steele - none. This was for the people to make their protest and a lot of these guys tried to gravy train the events.

I'd rather have Newt or dare I say it, Ron Paul, over most politicians.

OUCH! LOL, he almost started to win some of the crowd back at the end, but not that one guy, LMAO! "Go Home!" "Go Home!" "Go Home!"
