Has the success of the Tea Party events of April 15th, inspired you to Take Your Country Back?
Yes?
No?
Why?
Would you be willing to participate in similar events in the future?

I'm sure that there will be something like that, CC. 4th of July would be perfect.
Still though, I really love the whole idea of ordinary people in cities and small towns alike, coming out for these things. I truly believe that this is just the beginning. The turnout from yesterday has only reinforced that belief.

Can Huckabee be trusted? He seems to be a politician first. The thing about conservatives is, and their strength is, that they do not need a leader.
Think about it . That is the one thing that differentiates us conservatives from liberals.
Liberals can NOT do anything with out a leader. Each one of us conservatives take it upon ourself to "just get er done".
That is the strength and amazing efficiency of this great country;
And the reason that "right" always wins in the end.
Warm regards,
Gerald

I like Huckabee's show , I think he has found a purpose there , I also think Mike should get a radio show , He comes across allot better than he did while campaigning, I was unable to attend due to prior work commitments but I hope the right , the Republicans and the Libertarians can set aside some differences , hell I even take a conservative Dem. We the People need to retake our Country!!

Yes, I am inspired. It was wonderful to see so many turn out here in Tennessee yesterday. And the weather wasn't that great. It was cloudy and cool here all day yesterday. And the Nashville tea party was from noon to 2 pm. Most of those who showed up were probably on their lunch break. The one I attended in Hendersonville was at 6 pm, and it was considerably cooler at that time, but people showed up, and exercised their first amendment rights.

Gerald,
Amazing. I really agree with you about Huckabee. I had no idea.
Man, the things you learn about someone that you've actually known for many years. :icon_wink

I haven't liked Huckabee since he made that little back room deal with McCain in the primaries. Had it not been for that, Romney might have had a chance to win the primaries. That coupled with the fact that he wanted to give in state tuition to illegal immigrants when he was governor of Arkansas.

I am going to begin preparing for an anti-amnesty protest very soon. Then we will have both sides of the aisle in the street.

But the Conservative movement needs a face that can be placed on it.

I loved the Tea Party, just being around some many people that had my views on this topic was great.
But after watching the liberal media beat us up like they did, took a lot out of me.
Plus the fact that DHS is writing statements that we are terror suspects, it just does not look good for us.

Oh..no no no, NF. That should fire you up even more!
The media's snotty coverage and the DHS report can and WILL be used to our advantage. Never be discouraged by such things. Just take what they throw at you and find a way to use it against them.
I printed that report and will keep it with me. Next time some liberal that I have the misfortune of encountering, starts in with their spew, I'm going to whip that report out and stick it right in their face and see what they've got to say about it.
Evidence is always good. I'm going to make a few extra copies of the report so I can spread the truth around.

It really is us against them and the last count I have is, we are out numbered by 6 million, that is how many the messiah won by. Okay say he lost a few million supporters, he didn't lose 6 million of them. If we are not out numbered then in is because of lazy ass people who feels why bother someone else will do it. You say it should fire me up the way the liberal media spun the Tea Parties. Maybe it would if we would fight fire with fire. We need to take their game to them, fight harder than they are, but it seems as though we worry about hurting peoples feelings, why they don't care if they hurt ours. At any rate we are behind in my opinion and it will get much worse before it gets better. It is going to take another 9/11 before the people of this country gets their head out of their ass and wakes up to see what this messiah born and raised in Kenya is doing to OUR country.

We are going to fight fire with fire. That's part of the reason some of the lib's have gone into near meltdown mode over our protests. See, that's always been their gig - protesting.
Now we're taking it from them, and they absolutly hate it. We are going to continue with it, too. What will the lib's do then? I'll tell you: They'll try and shut us down. When they do that, it's a big time gotcha moment for us. So then we use that against them as well.
The way I see it, for every negative thing that they do, we gain two positives. We're fighting back and having our say, AND exposing more and more the dangers of what they are up to.
That sould not discourage you. It should inspire you. That DHS report and the media's coverage of the Tea Parties tells me that the left is fearful of your average informed citizen. There is a reason why B. Hussein and his goons are looking at ways to gain some control over the net. Believe me, they don't like what goes on with even little sites such as TheAmericanRight. They do not want us spreading information or learning all that we learn here. Same thing goes for talk radio.
There is no way that I'll give in and be discouraged. (TL is all nice and fired up these days :icon_twis)
