Like a Phoenix rising through the ashes, the patriots of this once lovely little Navy town, have risen to the challenge of taking their country back from the grips of liberalism.

First one Tea Party protest, which drew several hundred participants, and now another, with an even larger group: http://www.socaltaxrevoltcoalition.org/3.html.

My native city turned blue this last election, and I think it has awakened some of the red blooded patriots who were a bit too sleepy here under the shady palms.

So many of us take for granted all that we have in life that is so wonderful. Sometimes it isn't until something is taken away, that we really start paying attention again. Well, Obama and his administration have certainly done the trick, with their rabid appetite for change - change towards all that America was not meant to be.

The patriots of San Diego have gathered. They are growing in numbers and coming out to show that they are not giving up, or giving in. Think this next event on the 15th will be even bigger here? You bet it will. And guess what? It doesn't end there.

Will you be there to help your city rise? I sincerely hope so. You won't regret your time spent, seeing something so beautiful. It could very well turn out, that the lib's have given us something of a gift. It's happened before. His name was Ronald Wilson Reagan.

Believe.

Is there anything I can do right now? I was trying to organize a tea party, but the baby came and that had to be back -burnered.

Madd, you certainly have a valid excuse, with the baby and all. However, I can tell you that this will not be the end of this movement. There will be plenty more chances for you to make a statement.

This administration will do all that it can to try and lie and dance their way aouund and spin this whole thing. It will be completly facination to see what sort of statement the White House will make after this wednesday.

Will they try and ignore it?
Will they lie and say that they support what we are doing?
Will they be honest and come right out and say that they are against this and would really love to just shut the whole thing down?

Glenn Beck is on talking about this right now. He's playing some audio of what some on the left have already been doing to try and screw with these events.

Don't sign any petitions unless you know for sure what they are about and who is circulating them. These people are looking for and will try and find someone - anyone, anyone who will make one screwball comment that is racist or violent. That's what the press will be searching for, because it's what they would like to highlight.

What we need is for everyone to concentrate on what the core of this thing is all about. Stay completly focused on that, and we're going to do great.

I had a word with our local Republican party chairman and asked if they had planned any tea parties and gave them this URL. Of the Tea parties, he said, "Hadn't planned one, but that would be a great idea."

He went on to say he wish he'd thought of it sooner to be there on the fifteenth, and I told him if he planned one, We would try to attend if possible.

There will probably be more opportunities this summer, Madd. I can certainly see some people looking towards Independence Day protests. A lot of people would have the day off, and the symbolism would be perfect.

Madd, go and look at my suggestion in the Tea Party Attendence thread. I think you'll like it.
