It's kind of like spinning your wheels when it comes to tightening control. After a certain point additional security doesn't matter and the same goes for the restriction of guns. I'd like to know how many people out there are thinking about "tightening control" instead of "making our streets/kids/schools/health safe".

Go read the report again, Auri. It referrs on several occasions to those who are upset with the current financial situation (one that has become notably WORSE since the report came out, BTW). It lists off all sorts of groups which now fall on the 'right' - where the 'right' do not have a history of organizing for such violence and "begin killing"

I dont think violent overthrow is the answer....because even that probably wont work. The disease that is socialism/liberalism has infected too much of our body politic, I think, to ever be excised. They see the statistics showing that radical Islamists are 10,000-times more likely than Christians, Jews, or Hindus to blow up an airplane, fly an airplane into buildings killing thousands, tie up folks and cut off their heads, and to pull out an automatic pistol and shoot 19 or so fellow Americans dead for religious reasons..... and the left decides it's critically important to investigate the bigotry of Jewish settlements and the border fences Israel builds to protect its citizens from Islamist murderers!

The left gleefully takes FBI statistics showing that black citizens are more than 7-trimes more likely to kill whites than whites are to kill blacks, and that black males are more than 300 times as likely to rape a white female than whites are to rape black females, and the left decides it's time to investigate those racist white people and their hate crimes!

It's not surprising therefore that when innocent Americans are being killed by people who are illegally entering our country, it's a national crisis that we must investigate the probability that right-wing extremists will begin shooting innocent Hispanics because "some" of their brethern don't have the decency to respect our nation's laws. Could it happen? Of course it could happen, but the actual evidence more than suggests that it is highly unlikely....... and if it ever happened it wouldn't be a damned epidemic like Islamic terrorism and illegal immigration are!

Perhaps some kind of intelligence should be demonstrated by the left when it comes to setting priorities?????? The left is comprised of some very sorry scumbags!

I think the original point JP was making was regarding hypocrisy and being willfully blind to statistics, to the point of attacking an issue as if the statistics were reversed, all in the name of political correctness.

Rape is rape, very true....and yes, stats are flawed because of reporting. However, when you have such a huge disparity in numbers its foolish in the extreme to NOT investigate them.

By all the data I was able to find, black men in this nation are 3 to 4 times more likely to commit rape than white men. In 2005 there were almost 40,000 cases of black on white rape, with less than 10 reported cases of white on black rape. The numbers vary, depending on how rape and sexual assault are considered, but the disparity remains constant.

That being said, I think its irresponsible to link it solely to race, rather than culture. There is a large population of young black men who've been programmed to believe that their whims are more important than the rules we all live by....that when they want something, they should just take it, and anyone telling them otherwise is somehow trying to "keep them down" because of the color of their skin. Its not about color, at its roots, its about class vs class, and politically motivated promotion of entitlement mentality. This segment of our political system loves promoting this bullcrap, because it helps recruit easy to control voting blocks, and it helps further their class vs class agenda.

White men typically rape (with some exceptions) with different (albeit just as sick) motivations from black men: self loathing and misplaced lust on one end vs need for control and hateful need for revenge on the other.
