I see the insults are back again.

So - in order to help with the baby sitting, I guess I'll have to treat those who can't help themselves like the children they apparently are.

Insults and the like will receive an infraction. Three infractions, and you are banned. No questions, no bias, no nothing. It goes for everyone.

On the other hand, if someone can explain to me why some people can post countless times on here and can do so while explaining their position and never feel the need to personally attack someone, and other can not go more than one day without having to level personal attacks, I'm all ears.

I wonder if it is fair to expect some people to have to sit by and listen to the attacks and bullshit of a select few. I think not.

Some times it is very hard to stay calm everyone knows that. I acted like an ass when I first got here and after I saw what I did I said I was sorry and moved on. There are a lot of VERY passionate people on here when you hit on their topic. I feel very passionate about illegal immigration, gun control, liberals indoctrinating our children and gay marriage. If others do not have the same opinion as I do it sometimes angers me to the point of saying something ignorant towards the other person.

The big problem I see here if any is the religion thing. Don't bit my head off, but if people want to talk about religion then bring back the forum again. Have it so if a thread evolves into religion (a lot do) then it has to be moved to the religion forum. That way those who do not want to go to that forum do not have to.

Will there be a warning to the ppl with infractions so they know when they have committed one?
Will the infractions drop off the record after a set amount of time?

Have it so if a thread evolves into religion (a lot do) then it has to be moved to the religion forum. That way those who do not want to go to that forum do not have to.
I think it's a good idea too.
There should also be a "no religion" rule to anything posted outside the religion thread. IMO of course.

Historically, IHL has always sent people an PM to inform them of any such marks against the. I imagine he will continue to do so

IHL is serious here in his thread. Let's respect it, and then try and continue on in a direction which is complimentary to the site.

I love this site, and a lot of the people here. Let's not allow for the agitators to get the best of us. I know that it happens - it's happened with me, but I try my very best to learn from this and then move on up. My guess is that this is what IHL wants for all of his valued members.

I would like to say that I am greatful for how things have simmered down some, with the name calling and all that. For a while there, it was becoming a bit of a bummer to even come here. It's nice when people can have an honest debate without the vicious name calling and all that.

I don't mind it when a few words are thrown around in a good natured way though. Most of us who have been here for a long time, can easily see when someone is being funny, rather than outright insulting.

No. It's just that he doesn't seem to get very angry on here. I strongly suspect that he spends a good deal of his time posting things and then laughing at some of the replies he gets.
