It's growing! Take a look at Malkin's site: http://michellemalkin.com/2009/03/15/huge-thousands-converge-for-cincinnati-tea-party/ See the aerial photo? Pretty great that people are taking action and letting their voices be heard.
Of course, I am under no illusions that Chairman Zero and his buddies actually give a damn about your average Joe and Jane who will (along with their children and their children's chldren) have to foo the bill for all of this bailout nonsense. However, if this continues to grow and grow, there WILL come a point when they will have to pay attention.
I truly believe that this administration has greatly under estimated what good bit of fire in the hearts of concerned citizens can and WILL do. I encourage every concerned member here at TAR to gather their families and friends and participate in the Tea Party Protests. I promise you that it will be well worth your time and effort.
Congrats to Cincinnati for the fantastic turnout. We've got two more coming right up here in San Diego. One on April 1st, and one on April 11th. My guess is that the organizers will do a great job with it, just as they did the last time. And yes, I'll be attending both of the protests. I couldn't exactly be here asking all of you to get out and participate, if I were not willing to do the same, so I'm committed to attending every single one in my area.
Happy sign making, everybody. :icon_bigg

Found a little video of the Cincinnati protest:

Are you all busy making your signs yet? I hope so! I don't want to have to be disappointed in my TAR Pals.

TL, I'm not really into the whole protesting outside thing. I've been against public protesting ever since I saw men protesting male circumcision on the back steps of Capital Hill back in 2002. I would rather show my dissent by writing to my Congressmen. Writing is one of the things that I do best.

It's about the numbers. Increasing numbers of people (Conservatives / Patriots) who take time out of their busy day, sends a message. Personally, I want the B. Hussein administration to see the movement grow. I want them to see citizens come out to peacefully protest and show that they really are AWARE of what is going on.
B. Hussein is president because of the dimwits who came out in huge numbers to vote. Many voted because of race. That's just a fact. Now we have a show of juist how many people there are who do pay attention and take the time to educate themselves. Surely, this is not what Chairman O had hoped to see. So in that case, the protests are good. Personally, I want him to squirm a bit.

Update: I've discussed the matter with Myra, with my brother and with Phantom Stranger, tentatively preparing to plan for our own tea party.

When and If I can get enough people to do it. Myra, Phantom and Myself would look a little silly by ourselves. I need a larger group and better advertisements.

Go to this site:
http://www.the912project.com/
Watch the short video of the Orlando Tea Party Declaration. It's one of those things that makes you clap your hands and cheer out loud. I think I've watched it a dozen times. It's absolutly beautiful! :clap1:

I see Newt has a Tea Party Toolkit:
http://www.americansolutions.com/General/?Page=a6386a2f-6bb2-4ee5-b230-b46b54c887e4
Now, it won't be long until April 15th is here. Please do everything that you possibly can to get to an event. The bigger the turnout, the better. It absolutly will send a strong message to Washington, and the MSM will not be able to ignore it.
I know that everyone is busy with work and family life, but this is about taking your country back from the fools who are running it straight into the ground for generations to come.
I don't want April 15th to come and go and find that I'm the only person here posting about my local event. C'mon TAR pals...let's see some action.

This is how we get our country back. It's entirely up to you though. If it isn't important to you, then by all means, just go ahead and sit it out.

Bless you, NF. We need every person that we can get. You and Mrs. NF have my admiration for taking action to Take Our Country Back!
Who else is with us? Anybody? You all aren't part of the people who talk a good talk and then don't take any acton, are you? Are you staying home, April 15th? I'm not.

I'll be attending the one in Nashville. I just found a website that has some ideas about goals we should be protesting for and against and expressing them. Here is a link to the site:

I am trying to talk my daughter into going. She wants to go for a specific reason though. I told her to just go, and she will find a group that she fits in with. Perhaps I should send her a link to Basso's video and a link to the website I just now found.

Take a look at this map:

I'm even a bit more optimistic now. Look at the Left Coast! The protests are all over the place! :icon_bigg See? We're not all a bunch of dirty hippies who don't love our country. Our patriots are going to come out in droves.
Is it here yet? I can hardly wait for the 11th and then the 15th. We can do this. We can send a very strong message to Washington with thse events and the MSM won't be able to ignore it. It's going to grow and grow like a vine on a topiary. When it's fully covered, it's a beautiful thing.

You knew it would happen:
http://michellemalkin.com/2009/04/06/get-ready-for-the-anti-tea-party-sabotage-and-smear-campaign/
It comes as no surprise that left wing trash like Beckle would try and mininize the Tea Party events.
Folks, this is your chance to show these scum bags what you are made of. If you take the time and show up at one of these events and put your face out there, you are saying to them that you KNOW what they are doing and that you're not going to just sit there and take this.
You'll be telling them that their days as professional crooks and liars are numbered, because we're going to throw the bums out - all of them. You will be sending the message that is is not going to be you, the hard working and honest American, who is going to be spending your days in the unemployment line. It's going to be THEM. They deserve no position in government because they are proven failures when it comes to responsibility.
Read what people like Malkin are writing about this. Read it twice- three times, if you need to. Something truly amazing is happening here. I've really never seen anything like this, and to be honest, it's bigger than I thought it would be.
Come on April 15th. Be a part of something far more historic than this last election was. The weaklings came out and elected some sugar daddy. Nothing to be proud of there. Want to be a part of something that Americans for generations to come will look up to and admire? If you do, then come and join your fellow patriots as we Take Our Country Back.

Hmmm, there's one 15 minutes from my house..too bad I have to work.
Can’t say much there considering I don’t have a job but I always thought that’s why you never see a lot of Republican protest is because many of them are too busy with work to take time off to protest. I mean just look at the fools in San Francisco I bet more than half are jobless most of them look trashy too.
I hope April 15th this Tea Party thing gets a huge boost, even though it will get little coverage.
