Sorry, I don't buy the whole Imperialistic Forced Colonization garbage. The only land we've ever occupied permanently on foreign soil was given to the US and was only enough to bury our fallen soldiers who died there in defence of liberty.

Did I say anything about 'Imperialistic Forced Colonization'?

No, I said our PR sucks..

We rebuilt Europe AND Japan after WW2 and returned all lands.. We've only once ever annexed or forcefully taken independent territory..

Queen Liliuokalani issued a statement: "I yield to the superior force of the United States of America, whose minister, his excellency John L. Stevens, has caused United States troops to be landed at Honolulu. ... Now, to avoid any collision of armed forces and perhaps the loss of life, I do, under this protest, and impelled by said force, yield my authority until such time as the government of the United States shall undo the action of its representative and reinstate me."
President Grover Cleveland investigated the coup and fired Stevens. He apologized to the queen. And on Dec. 18, 1893, he briefed Congress on his findings:

"By an act of war, committed with the participation of a diplomatic representative of the United States and without authority of Congress, the government of a feeble but friendly and confiding people has been overthrown," Cleveland said. "A substantial wrong has thus been done, which a due regard for our national character, as well as the rights of the injured people, requires we should endeavor to repair."

Cleveland refused to approve the annexation of Hawaii. Soon, however, he was out of office, and President William McKinley gave it his blessing.

Said Sam Monet, a staunch independence proponent: "The Kingdom of Hawaii has never ceased to exist. No peace treaty between the U.S. and the kingdom of Hawaii has been signed. A state of war between the U.S. and the kingdom of Hawaii exists today."

No you didn't goofball. You said Ron Paul's PR sucks, and the Republican Party's PR sucks....but I'll agree that our PR sucks. However there's also an aspect that deals with a bunch of whiney assed under developed nations who act with the same bullshit entitlement mindset as many of Obama's minions do, and they get pissy when the get told to get off their asses for once and do something.

In those cases, PR isn't gonna do diddly...

Then we ignore them and let them waste unless they wish to sign a treaty and make cooperation official...

Like Africa... why are we wasting resources to feed the warlords in africa? Let 'em starve.. if they want our help, make 'em sign a treaty and protect and support our interests in exchange for our military support...

Like Congo.. use the damned diamonds and be a 1st world nation... but they're too busy with the infighting...

America first!, says this nationalist...

Election results are from CNN and Wikipedia. Exit polling for 2004/2008 is via CNN. All of the stuff in "New" Obama votes and under is my math.

Your picture of the red/blue by county is not indicative of the true voting habits. I've yet to see a purple map which shows county colored appropriately by blue/red values for the 2008 election. Also the continued notion that rural America is the real America is absurd and counterproductive to a Republican return to power.

Well your boy Michael Moore seems to think that the blue states are the USA and all the red ones are 'Jesus Land', but you're down with that aren't you?

Because of our early expansionist policies and our role as the World Constable

Don't get me wrong, we can't turn back now- bu honesty requires we admit we have ways of pissing people off

this is how we are viewed..

You, and I suspect, much of the world, are under the false impression that
words like Imperialism, Colonialism and Nationalism are bad words.

I for one, see the Colonization of Africa, and other places as a means to drag these backwards folks into the twentieth century. Without European colonialism, Africa would be mired in a Bronze-to-Iron age time warp of
Slavery, tribal warfare, disease, starvation , superstition and Cannibalism.

And you got your numbers from where?

Then there's this:

Yup, that's one country that swings for Obama

I demand a recount. There's no way in heck that Obama could have won, given THAT percentage.

If you're gonna denigrate farmers and rural folk, sonny jim, don't do it with your mouth full. To Qyote Charlie Daniels

What this world needs is a few more rednecks
Some people ain’t afraid to take a stand
What this world needs is a little more respect
For the Lord and the law and the workin’ man
We could use a little peace and satisfaction
Some good people up front to take the lead
A little less talk and a little more action
And a few more rednecks is what we need
I was raised on beans and cornbread
And I like my chicken fried
Yes, I drive a pickup truck
And I’m full of American pride
I keep a Bible on my table
I got a flag out on my lawn
And I don’t believe in mindin’
No one’s business but my own
And I love them Rambo movies
I think they make a lot of sense
And it’s a shame ole John Wayne
Didn’t live to run for president

And I don’t care what nobody says
I don’t trust ole Gorbachev
And I don’t know who turned him on
But it’s time to turn him off
What this world needs is a few more rednecks
Some people ain’t afraid to take a stand
What this world needs is a little more respect
For the Lord and the law and the workin’ man
We could use a little peace and satisfaction
Some good people up front to take the lead
A little less talk and a little more action
And a few more rednecks is what we need
Now they’re tryin’ to take my guns away
And that would be just fine
If you take ‘em away from the criminals first
I’ll gladly give ya mine
And I don’t mind payin’ taxes
But it makes my temper itch
When my hard earned money goes
To make some politician rich
What most people call a redneck
Ain’t nothin’ but a workin’ man
And he makes his livin’
By the sweat of his brow
And the calluses on his hands
Now you intellectuals may not like it
But there ain’t nothin’ that you can do
Cause there’s a whole lot more of us common-folks
Then there ever will be of you
What this world needs is a few more rednecks
Some people ain’t afraid to take a stand
What this world needs is a little more respect
For the Lord and the law and the workin’ man
We could use a little peace and satisfaction
Some good people up front to take the lead
A little less talk and a little more action
And a few more rednecks is what we need
That’s what we need
And a few more rednecks is what we need

Yet the ones who are here now appreciate nothing...

Africa can only be helped by military intervention and re-colonization by Europe.
The only southern africans to ever experience civilization are the ones the Whites took with them... Even the Egyptians viewed the darks to the south as nothing better than slaves or beasts of burden...

But I'm also an Imperialist. In other words, I think we should annex any territory we take from an enemy and add it to our own.

There's no way in heck that Obama could have won, given THAT percentage.

He won it because of the extremely high concentrations of supporters in the inner city. That and all the dead people and snow birds and repeat voters that voted for him.

What I noticed to be lacking at polling booths this last time was some form of physical evidence that you voted already.

Every other country I lived in, there was some liquid that you dipped all your fingers in, which showed up under ultra-violet light. The shit stayed on for like a week. My wife just told me that night clubs use the same stuff to stamp on your hand to show you've paid, anyway, part of the registration process was that before you signed in, you stuck your hands into a dark box which had an ultra violet light in it and if the stuff showed up on your hands....you were turned away.

Wonder why nothing like that is in place....
