After secodn thought, what he did was justified. Think of ti as a citizen's arrest. I don't knwo ARizoan law, but there was a care in Kansas where a farmer caught someone stealign valuable wood from his farm, so he pointed a gun at him. tied him up, put him in the back of his truck. and brought him tot he police station. This guy was nto charged, so what is the big deal? Is it the liberals and their love for illegal immigrat's rights? If you ask me, illegal immigrants have two rights:
-The right to shut up.
-The right to get the hell out of our country.
the problem with the guy in arizona is that he was defending himself against people who are breaking the law by being here...the guy in kansas was a citizan so he has no rights...because that makes sooooo much more sense!?!?!?

You know what? I am going to be stationed in Fort Huachuca which is RIGHT on the Mexican border in Arizona. I wish to hell I would be able to access this site when I go there to give you guys live updates on things that go on there. I swear that if these illegals win this lawsuit, it will be one of the signs of the appocolypse...

All charges against Patrick Haab have been dropped! Today, April 21st the Maricopa County Attorney released a statement dropping all charges based on Patrick's right to a citizen's arrest in the particular situation.

Here's the story (http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/0421haab-ON1.html) and this great quote from the article...
After his arrest, Haab created a Web site and a fund for his defense. He appeared on national television and syndicated radio programs and also became a sort of celebrity on some Internet venues, especially conservative sites such as mightyrighty.com and libertyforum.org. Emphasis mine :icon_wink

It is still upsetting to me that the prosection is still stating that this is some sort of race issue... Mr. Haag was assulted and had every right to defend himself.
Assault – threat or use of force on another that reasonably makes that person fear bodily harm.
Mr. Haag feared bodily harm... thats why he drew his gun... I am glad to see that he had the charges dropped but he is correct in saying that his reputation is now tarnished by this. It is just maddening that people keep bringing race into the picture... instead of the story saying that seven men approached Haag in a threatening manner the writers always play the race card by saying that the men were mexican or black or purple or whatever... the continual putting labels on people keeps the darn race thing in the front of people's minds instead of non existant or in the back of thier minds...

Thank God for small miracles! Maybe there is still some hope left in this country after all! I want to send my best wishes to him and anybody else who runs into this situation down the line.

My god...there is still common sense in this country and its courts?

...and hopefully the good judgement to not leave a crippled assaillant to testify.
The difference between shooting one round and emptying an entire fifteen round clip into an attacker is simply the effect of adrenaline, when in fear for one's life.
It's a shame to require drama, but it works.
Conan says:" It's better to be judged by 12 men than to be toted by 6. "
Concerning the race card, are Mexicans less responsible for their actions than Caucasians? The press making such an inference is demeaning.

Praise God that the law isn't completely blind. I'm glad the charges were dropped and I pray for him and his family. I hope his rep wasn't smudged too much.

The illegals, as well as the smuggler, face charges in federal court.

Glad the libs finally took a look and read the laws. I carry most all the time, and I would have done the same thing.

Do you even know what the hell you are talking about? Sorry, but if you want full freedom and rights in this country, you have to earn it. Just like paying for your food at the grocery store. It's not hard to get legal citizenship. If you snuck into Mexico, you would be treated way worse than we treat them...

:icon_eek: What is this!? How can an American in the RESERVE be puished for holding people who are here illegally, and how do these people punish charges? This makes absolutely no sense.

WHAT THE F*CK!?!?!?!?
Since when are non-citizens allowed to press charges in this country!? Since when did defending yourself in a situation as such become a crime! Since when did illegal aliens recieve more rights than those who serve our country! This country is going down the tubes faster than can be measured!
Why would we not give another human being our freedom, our rights, our benefit of the doubt?
Painful as it is to carry out, we are holding our standards higher than those around us.
I may not like it, but it helps me to accept it when I put myself in another's shoes.
Most of the world are victims of Liberal 'Tard Syndrome. They are incapable of grasping that which seems obvious common sense to you and I.

Damn right! Who is to say that the Mexicans didn't go up to him because he was White! I mean, certainly they wouldn't be bothering other illegals in the area for money or something!
