South Dakota may enforce a law that requires doctors to provide pregnant women with a written statement saying, "the abortion will terminate the life of a whole, separate, unique, living human being," a federal appeals court ruled last Friday.
In Planned Parenthood v. Rounds, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit voted 7-4 to strike down a 2005 preliminary injunction issued by the U.S. District Court for South Dakota.
The injunction had prevented a statute - requiring abortion providers to tell women, in writing, that an abortion would terminate the life of a "living human being" - from taking effect. The decision by the appeals court reversed the injunction and remanded it to the district court for further proceedings consistent with its opinion.

Did you know that people who follow the Jewish faith don't believe that a fetus is not an actual human being until it is actuallly born and starts breathing?
I don't agree with them on that point, but I do not think that a fetus should be considered a baby until it actually develops enough to be able to surive. I think abortion should be okay only within the first trimester but not to be used as a form of birth control. I think there are few circumstances where it should be allowed. Anyway, should other people really be so concerned about what women do with their bodies? I especially don't feel that MEN have any say in what we decide to do with ourselves. To me it is a question of personal freedom.

Lets look at this logically because obviously you have not. First off men do not tell you what to do with your body. You can wear your hair how you want, you can smoke, you can get tattoos etc etc. A baby's body is defiantly not part of yours. Look at this way the baby has DNA from both you and the man, that means it is not is not quite you and not quite the man. Logically it can be concluded that is not part of your body or his. Lets continue shall we? Next assume you want to keep the baby and the man doesn't pay you bet your ass the court will say he is responsible. If they can be financially responsible for it then they should have a say in it.

Still though a man has no say in what a woman does with her embryos even if the guy is the father. That's just how it is. A fetus is technically hooked to a woman's body and she has to carry it so it should be her choice whether or not to keep it. I don't think men should be held responsible for the care of a child if they didn't want it and if they are not a couple with the woman. I'm afraid the courts do not agree with me though but I think people should be a little bit more responsible.

Let's look at this in a different way. You and I are hanging out and decide that we are hungry. Since we are really hungry we decide to get an 18in pizza right. Being fair minded and friends we both decide to pay for half. I give you the money and you go pick it up. That pizza is both of ours. Would it be right for you to go to your friends house and eat it without me? Situation 2. On the way to get our pizza you are driving and see a White Castle and that feeling hits you. YOu know what it is. When you are a little drunk and you drive past a WC and all you crave is a sack of warm burgers. You wouldnt stop and go pick up a crave case without my permission would you?
Last note what is responsible? For some pulling out is responsible and of course others there is much more precaution. This shows why you cannot legislate on morality.

The Infant inside its mother is a separate Human being. It became so when the cells fused and began to multiply.
