George Soros, who finances moveon.org and other left wing nastiest blogs), David Brock (founder of Media Matters) and Paul Begala are all behind this. I hope it backfires on them.
A former right wing investigative reporter spearheading the liberal attack ads saying the press has, quote, "fallen down on the job when it comes to John McCain."

The negative adds are disgusting. They are in bad taste and I hope this one backfires. That's what bothered me when Romney, Giuliani and the others were still in it. Just bashing each other constantly until one by one they conceded. Then of course it's a love fest for McCain and a stand for unity.

Heh.
I say bring it on. Hopefully McCain can rise above it, because the people know what's up. They are so turned off by negative ads... I would like to see the following scenario:
1. (Hillary/Obama) puts out a negative ad
2. McCain puts out an ad saying why he's the best candidate
3. (Hillary/Obama) puts out an ad saying that his positions are so weak he cant respond to fair criticism
4. McCain puts out an ad saying why he's the best candidate
5. (Hillary/Obama) puts out yet another attack ad
6. McCain puts out an ad saying why he's the best candidate
etc...
That kind of thing would be the best move for Sen. McCain, IMO.

Oh, and remember the recent attempted hit-piece by the New York Times. Fat lot of good that did, eh? Pffffft. That just reinforced the fact that the libs are the party of hate and discord.

Well I guess they have the money to do it.
It's funny though, I always hear people say, "I'm too poor to be a Republican." But, doesn't it seem like the Democrats are the party of the "rich?" I mean, look at the money Clinton and Obama have raised. I don't even think all the Republicans put together match what they made.
So much for the party for the poor.

I hate the mudslinging. It really shows that you don't trust your own abilities and you have to reduce to childish displays.
