its my dream to be president, and i believe that i will succeed in making it a reality.I think that's great. I hope that you go for it. I assume you are a born citizen?
My 6 year old daughter has the typical responses when asked what she wants to be when she grows up...... Vet, school teacher, nurse. I've suggested she become president, but she won't bite. I took her with me to vote recently and in a whisper she asked me who I had voted for. I whispered back that I had voted for her. She looked at me with a panicked expression so I quickly took her off the hook.

CC: I'd vote for you. After all, Washington was born a british subject. Don't give up hope, besides, We've had a Canadian president before. Chester Arthur. He was born in Canada, or at least they suspect it, and he is one of my all time favorites. You can do it!

CC, your photoshop video was really good. I would vote for you, too, you'd make a fine president, because you love America.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all.......-T. Roosevelt.
Once our friend CC is here, declaring to defend his country, this Canadian prefix is dropped. He will be ConservativeAmerican. And as Roosevelt says, as American as me.

I'm sorry CC your a nice guy and all that, but the Constitution says that only natural born citzens may lead the US. That is what the founding fathers wanted and that is the way it must be.

But there were many great Americans who were foreign born, including President Arthur (It's been fronted that he was actually, like our friend CC, Canadian born) and he was, in my opinion, a truly great president.
John Paul Jones- Born in Scotland
Rev. John Witherspoon- Born in Scotland
Irving Berlin- Born in Russia
Arnold Shwarzenegger=Austrian born
John Ericcson- Born in Sweden
Albert Einstein- Born in Switzerland or Germany
Henry Kissinger- German Born
Werner von Braun- Born in Germany
A great many Americans born in other lands, and I defy you to question the loyalty of any of them.

Great job, CC. That was fun to see.
While you may not be able to actually become president here, I would be very proud to have you become a citizen of our great country and see you work in whatever capacity you can to make our country a better place. Someday when you come here and have your citizenship ceremony, I am going to come and cheer :clap1: for you. You're a good guy, CC.

It does not matter. I will not argue these peoples love for this country, but the Constitution says only natural born citizens may become president. CC is not, so he may not.

I still think he'd be a good leader. What if His home province was sold to the Us by Canada? Then he'd be eligible.

No because he would not be a natural born citizen.

No because he would not be a natural born citizen.
If that province is US territory, he is now born in US territory, making him eligible.

i may not be elegible right now, but i will probably end up trying to pass a constitutional ammendement in the future. i dont see a problem with allowing foreign born citizens to run, as long as they have never been convicted of terrorisim towards the us or any other country or have ever been convicted of a violent crime.
