View Full Version : The Blame Game
We've seen it a million times. Bush gets blamed for everything. We don't have to go over the details. Pick a problem and the libs have blamed Bush. He and his fellow Republicans were in office they said, they are all to blame.
Ok, fine. We lost the House and the Senate a year ago. The libs are in charge. How have they done?
Last year at this time gas was about $2.25 a gallon. Today, $3.30 or so is the average.
Consumer confidence has dropped to nearly all time lows.
The unemployment rate has increased over 10%.
Housing prices have plummeted and many banks and financial institutions are in risk of closing and people are losing their homes.
Gold has surged to $1000 and ounce. This usually is associated with bad things as people rush to gold in a panic.
And the war that the libs promised to end right away is still going on.
Is this still Bush's fault? We have liberals really running things. Bush is only one man. I haven't heard calls about how poorly the Democrats are running things. It still comes back to Bush. And guess what? If a liberals gets elected and things get worse, they'll still blame 'the Bush years' as the problem.
The moral of my little story is that no matter what happens the left will try to blame anyone else. It's easy to do. So let's turn the focus on them now. They are in charge. Bush is a lame duck. Things should be all rosey, right?
It's the DEMOCRATS FAULT!!
How's it feel?

Watch out IHl, the last time any of us 'neo-cons' alluded to something like this we got piled on by the "real conservatives".
Be that as it may, I think there's a lot of fault to be spread around, and it includes every aspect of America, from Consumers who want cheap stuff but also want the workers that produce the stuff to earn 100k salaries, to companies that are ====ing everyone over in the name of profit and greater marketing opportunities, to the Govt that is hellbent on re=establishing a ruling caste with an aristocracy.
Seeing as how this is a hollywood culture, I think the movie "Gladiator" ought to be studied in schools.

And not to mention the cost of food these days because farmers have stopped growing wheat because corn is a big cash cow now due to the promotion of producing ethanol in hopes of curbing c02 emissions. This crap is getting to be insane. Take a look at this from Neal's website.
ARE YOUR FOOD PRICES GOING UP? THANK AN ENVIRONMENTALIST
Well, let's see. Bread is up about 24% over the past year. Milk is up 25%. Beef is actually going down .. but it will be going way up later this year.
Reason? Ethanol! The people who are growing corn for ethanol are doing just fantastic out there! The wheat and dairy farmers see these corn growers raking in the cash and they say ... "What the hell! I'm getting rid of these cows. I'm not planting any more wheat. I'm growing corn! So ... food becomes more expensive. But why, you say, is beef cheaper? Because farmers are dumping their cows! Wait until the cows have all received ye old axe to the head .. then watch the price of beef going up!
In the meantime ... for God's sake, let's not drill off the coast of Western Florida or in ANWR. And let's not get into a crash program to build nuclear power plants. The environmental crowd wouldn't like it.

Due to the rise in price of feed the price of milk and ice cream has gone up 32 cents for a single scope and milk has gone up 20 cents a gallon. I know this because I work in at Oberweis Dairy (my boss wants to be governor of Illinois and just sued the Democrats for slander) Thats making prices a little outrageous; a gallon of our milk is $6.26 with a 1.70 bottle depoist included.
However IHL the democrats may be in power, but remember George Bush does still not care about black people. LOL that still cracks me up :icon_mrgr

Is it too late to start over?
Get all the smart people in one corner of the nation, get lots of weapons, re-try the succession thing, and just start over?
I nominate Laura Ingraham for our first presidential candidate. Or atleast a diplomat or something...
I would love to split this country up. Conservative on one side, Liberals on the other and have at it. May the best team win.
All the libs would be protesting us, having sit-ins, worrying about global warming and making sure to only use one sheet of toilet paper to do their business.
The conservatives would be working to improve their lives, building fences to keep the libs from taking what we worked for. We'd build a strong defense to stop any notion of the meek libs from coming after us. We'd start business and benefit those who worked hard. Those who didn't want to work would have access to a one way door to Libville. We take care of our sick, injured and handicapped. Anyone else who didn't want to work would be free to leave.
The liberals would have a sign on their gate saying "The Meek Shall Inherit The Earth", and at the bottom I would add... "Maybe, but the strong will just take it away from them."
I like your idea jb.... I like it a lot. All I can say is, when I'm in charge, things are going to be a lot different.

I think Bush has handled it with a lot of integrity. The left's "blame Bush game" is their favorite sport and the attacks on him springs from the worst kind of self-deception.
One of my favorites comes from dip brain, Sean Penn, who said that "the stress of living under the current administration was making it tough for him to quit smoking". Not only is Bush blamed for every ill in the world, he also is trying to keep people smoking.

That, Bee, is because it is easy to blame Bush. He is an unpopular president and it makes it easy to gain favor with the public. One of the things I admire about Bush is not only being elected twice, but standing up to eight years of criticism and still lead the country the best he can. While I may not agree with all his move, he does act with what I believe to be conviction so in that he can have my support.

I saw a discovery channel special about the extinction of the dinosaurs, and a new theory being floated around is that it was a global climate change that wiped them out. I told my wife that the liberals probably blamed it on the “Bushosaurous” administration that ruled the earth during that era.
As a joke between us we blame everything on Bush. One time I left a pizza in the oven too long and it burned on the bottom. I just blamed Bush and global warming : )

Well Hallelujah! That shirt may just pay off after all.:icon_bigg http://www.theamericanright.com/forums/showpost.php?p=103253&postcount=1
Man, sometimes it really pays to have these psychic powers of mine. Next thing you know, I'll be bending spoons with my mind, channeling lost loved ones and plucking demons out of people's intestines so they can feel better. :icon_twis

One reason why I can't join in on the "blame the left" game, because they haven't done anything! They came into Congress preaching about all this change they're going to bring, but what tangible thing have they done? They passed a resolution condemning Turkey for the Armenian Genocide 100 years ago. Great job, liberals! Now that that important issue is out the way, they can really begin to make life better for Americans.

I love the TAR Time Capsule here. It just amazes me to look back and see how right the conservatives pegged it. Go have a nice debate with any Obama supporter and I'll guarantee you they'll still bring up Bush. It's as though he's behind the curtain pulling the levers in some magic machine which makes the world collapse.
Barack Hussein Obama is just some innocent little baby, in the eyes of the liberals.
