I have news for the moron in this picture who is protesting the civilians who will be patrolling the border (http://apnews.myway.com/article/20050403/D897L0680.html). Yes, some people are most certainly illegal. If you are here by breaking the laws you are illegal. These people, (and I'll be willing to bet this guy is a flaming liberal) once again take the exact wrong side of the debate. The people joining the Minuteman Project are U.S. citizens that have the legal right to assemble and walk the border. They are legal Americans. And who do the liberals side with? They side with the illegal aliens trying to force their way into this country and try to suppress the rights of American citizens who have every legal right to do what they are doing.

This guy will probably say the same thing when the terrorists blow up his house - "No human is illegal?" BS.

Liberals love to assemble peacefully. But when a conservative does it, it's wrong? All that these people are doing is walking the border and spotting illegals and reporting them. They will not interact with the illegals at all.

Here is a letter written by comedian George Carlin. I think he sums up what it means to be a protester or an activist perfectly.

Dear Political Activists,

This is similar to people's belief that love can overcome everything, that it has some special power. It doesn't. Except one on one. One on one, love is incredibly powerful. It is a beautiful thing. It's a good letter. Perhaps, liberal activists could learn something from it. I'm writing to DemocraticUnderground and MoveOn. They need to send a copy of this to all of their followers. How about the AARP? Should I ask them to send it to their members also? Wait...can't forget about the people protesting the pulling of Terri's feeding tube and the people against abortion. They need this letter too.

I don't alway agree with George, but I'll agree with him on this one. I'm a bit surprised you'd post this Chi but I'll give you credit. I don't think protesting accomplishes much either, except maybe to show just how ridiculous some people can be. I think often times, it hurts your cause more than helps it.

I see it did not take long for liberal student groups to haul themselves down to the border to monitor the Minutemen and defend the criminals violating our borders today. I suppose they are bringing sack lunches and gatorade for the illegal crossers.

An immigrant activist on our local news this morning offered up the latest PC term for Los Banditos. It's now 'Economic Migrants'. Economic Migrants my foot! Anyone ever heard of the MS-13 gang? The nice, well meaning student groups are now helping to increase our gang problem.

I think it is great to see U.S. citizens standing up for themselves. I mean we have had this problem for how long? And no one has done anything. We have to stand up for what is ours. MS-13 has been active in Northern Virginia. You should here the way the news sugar-coats the stories when they report their crimes. Hate crimes by white, though. Now that's an entirely different story altogether.
