MoveOn.org, the Campaign for America's Future and liberal blogs like DailyKos.com are asking thousands of supporters to monitor who is advertising on the network. Once a database is gathered, an organized phone-calling campaign will begin, said Jim Gilliam, vice president of media strategy for Brave New Films, a company that has made anti-Fox videos. I read this article in the L.A. Times this morning. It was in the 'calendar section' in 'quick takes.'

It seems that the left are determine to stop Freedom of Speech from the right. First it's conservative radio with the Fairness Doctrine, now it's Fox News by pressuring their advertisers.

This is what the article reads:

Liberal activists are stepping up their campaign against Fox News Channel by pressuring advertisers not to patronize the network.

MoveOn.org, the Campaign for America's Future and liberal blogs like DailyKos.com are asking thousands of supporters to monitor who is advertising on the network. Once a database is gathered, an organized phone calling campaign will begin, said Jim Gilliam, vice president of media strategy for Brave New Films, a company that has made anti-Fox videos.

Representatives for Fox News Channel, which is owned by News Corp., did not immediately return calls for comment.

MoveOn.org is campaigning against Fox because it says the network characterizes itself as a fair news network when it consistently favors a conservative point of view, said Adam Green, the organization's spokesman.

"We're not trying to silence anybody," Green said. "Rush Limbaugh has a right to be on the on the air, he admits his point of view. Fox doesn't."

Baloney, they have tried to destroy Rush Limbaugh for years and are still at it. This is a precursor to the Fairness Doctrine.

What the left fails to see is that Fox News has many liberals there, including liberal analysts. They left only sees the right wingers. Whatever Mr. Green says, they are trying to silence Fox News. Freedom of Speech is only for the left. What he also fails to see is that many fans of CNN and and the other networks have changed over to Fox News because they find more honest reporting.

This ticks me off because it is not true. Obviously moveon.org is including anaylists like sean hannity, Bill O'Reilly and others as part of the campaign against Fox. That is retarded because these men are Analysts which INTERPRET the news with what they think it means, therefore allowed to use their own personal opion about politics with those that they are debating, basically there political talk shows. If you watch fox you will know that they have frequent news breaks where the news is delivered without any bias at all.

Fair and Balance does not mean it's not bias, it just means it's fair and balanced. Which means they have both sides. I am being truthful here it is a little biased but it's not CNN kind of biased.

God **** ****ing Homo ***wipes

We should do the same thing to CNN

I say we start monitoring CNN's comercials and then start calling the companies that advertise on there because of CNN's political bias, maybe MSNBC to.

"We're not trying to silence anybody," Green said. "Rush Limbaugh has a right to be on the on the air, he admits his point of view. Fox doesn't."

I wasn't aware that there was a law that stated you can't be on the air unless you profess your political stance.

Should I bother to point out that this MAY be in response to O'Reilly and FNC badgering corporate sponsors of Liberal media events?

Anyone else think they should leave each other alone?
