I live an hour drive from Hazelton, Pennsylvania which has recently become very active in the news. The Mayor of the town decided to put in an ordnance that punished landlords and bosses that hired or sold houses to illegal immigrants. His reason was a good one; the federal government won't stop illegal immigration, so he put matters into his own hands. Many other cities followed suit, and Hazelton's crime rate plummeted.

America's friends the ACLU walks in. Today, July 26th 2007, the ACLU once again won. Now the mayor will appeal, of course, but it makes you think. Who is the ACLU really protecting? They won on the grounds of the illegal immigrants constitutional rights. Last time I checked, illegal immigrants did not have the same Constitutional rights we all have, because they aren't legal citizens.

Now the ACLU has successfully struck a blow for every citizen. Hazelton has fallen under scrutiny by Latino rights groups, and has been called anti-immigration. They most certainly not, they are pro-legal immigration. I have walked the streets of Hazelton, there are many immigrants there, and most of them are legal. Some of them are from Latin countries, some are from Asia and Europe.

I hope that the Mayor wins his appeal, but I know that he won't. The ACLU has too much money and too good of lawyers to be beaten by the little town of Hazelton, Pennsylvania. I look forward to the day that the ACLU is put in place by someone. The Mayor tried, and I commend him. I'm amazed that the legal immigration community hasn't shown themselves. They waited in line, and where allowed to come here and legally follow the American Dream.

I look forward to the day that we can ALL realize that we need to do something about the immigration problem. Until then, I think that we need to keep fighting the federal government at a local level. Eventually I think they will get the idea.

The ACLU stands up and wants to protect the civil liberties of America's enemies, most of whom are not U.S. citizens. They stand up for terrorists and other scumbags of the world.

This little quote here says it all.....
"We will destroy you from within."

First off, the Illegals are criminals and not citizens. They are not, by the strict code of the constitution eligible for Miranda, for representation. They are here illegally and at the mercy of Uncle Sam, should he choose to act.

The ACLU's case stinks.. Things that are full of crap generally do.

I found this good article about the ACLU.

The ACLU: Enemy of America and Christianity
by Rabbi Aryeh Spero

For the past forty years the ACLU has used every legal machination to make the display of Christmas trees illegal if placed in a public institution or on property where there is even the remotest connection to a tax dollar. They’ve bludgeoned America with their claim that such displays violate the separation of church and state. The display of the Ten Commandments? Illegal, they say. Prayer in school? Prohibited, they charge. The mere mention of God at a graduation ceremony --- grounds for a law suit. The display of a Menorah -- the next morning the ACLU is at the court steps already litigating.

How strict are they in their interpretation of separation of church and state? In Pittsburgh they went so far as to demand that a municipal parking lot be off limits to those parking there to visit a local Christmas display at a nearby church.

So when the University of Michigan decided to fund $25,000 worth of ritual foot-washers for Islamic students wishing to pray, one assumed the ACLU would yell foul. After all, it is a public institution, receiving federal and state taxes and using that money for a religious device whose purpose is to facilitate prayer. Not only did the ACLU not object but it also supported the expenditure as “reasonable,” something it can never bring itself to say when activities are for Judeo-Christian expression or symbols.

Once again the ACLU shows us its true colors. This time i can not even believe that this trial was not laughed out of the courts. These are illegal immigrants using the AMERICAN legal system to sue an AMERICAN town on the case that their AMERICAN CONSTITUTIONAL rights are being VIOLATED!! Thay have NO rights. They should have been deported the moment it was found out that these were illegal immigrants. Has common sense really deserted this country!

Here is another outrage:

Never in the history of our court has a plaintiff been allowed to go to court anonymous, except in cases where medical conditions applied. All of the Illegal Aliens have been granted the right to be anonymous.

Ridiculous.
