thanks for that Dr. M., I don't have time to find all these kinds of articles so I have to depend on others. Bee has been terrific too.

Bee sent me this one. We sort of work together to get this info out there. I'm not always feeling up to moving, but I do get to stuff eventually.

I don't know, after the first debate, he's gained a lot of recognition. Hopefully people can get past his religion and see what he stands for and what he can do for this country. He is an amazing candidate. Just spread the word, tell people to go to his website and watch all his interviews and such. We can help him win by spreading the word.

NEWT GINGRICH is going to run, and Newt Gingrich is going to win.

This is BR's scenario. Think about it, and hopefully Wadi won't tell me that I'm dumb:

Newt has said that he won't make a decision until after Labor Day...He has just in the past few days told Diane Sawyer of GMA that it is "very likely" that he will run for President.

Hillary Clinton OR John Edwards will win the DNC's nomination, because Hillary is leading by as much as 10% in every poll and Edwards because he has such a youth following...Look for Obama to have a VP slot, but this will be seen as suicide just as Geraldine Ferraro was to Mondale in 1984.

But in my personal opinion, the two candidates chosen will be the ones that "no one would be stupid enough to nominate..."

NEWT v. HILLARY

But when Newt begins debating, HE WILL BLOW EVERYONE OUT OF THE WATER. The man makes so much sense, it's unbelievable. He has REAL SOLUTIONS.

And the best part about it is, he hasn't been a RINO like McCain, Giuliani or Romney. And I'm sorry but don't try to argue that Mitt isn't a RINO, it's pretty clear that he is.

Watch Newt's Cooper Union debate with Mario Cuomo at Newt.org. It's amazing what this guy has to offer our country.

I'm giving you the chance to convince me not to argue. I guess I'll give you a few more days to convince me, then I will have no choice but to argue. ; )

Ok, so I've given BushRocks a week to tell me why Romney is a RINO and why I shouldn't argue against that, but he never responded so I have no reason to believe that he is a RINO, and neither should you. People are scared of Romney cause he's Mormon. If all of you would just spend a few minutes on his website and see where he stands politically, I think you would really like him.

Romney believes in lowering taxes, he thinks Washington spends too much and he says he would cut government spending alot.

Romney wants our troops home but ONLY when we have finished what we set out to do. He knows how dangerous the jihadists are and he knows they are not just innocent civillians, he knows what they are capable of.

Romney believes that the people of America is what makes America such a strong country and he doesn't believe in a huge government. He believes it is the hard work and the spirit of the people that lift a country up.

He wants our country to be more attractive to LEGAL immigration and much less attractive to Illegal immigration. He believes we need a more tamper proof system and we need to better secure our borders.

The only thing he was ever not conservative on was abortion, and he said as he learned more about it he realized how serious it was. He admitted he was wrong. Would you rather have someone who pretended they never said it? Someone who said they were tricked into saying it? Someone who said it then when it became unpopular said the opposite? Or someone who fesses up to their mistakes and changes their mind? (I'm sure we have all changed our mind on one thing or another before)

And finally:
Governor Romney: "What is the culture of this country, what are our underpinnings? We respect hard work. ... We are self reliant, we respect human life, we are a religious people. ... We are a purpose-driven people founded on the family unit. I think every child deserves to have a mother and a father."
(Union Leader, March 19, 2006)

Governor Romney: "We can't have as a nation 40 million people -- or, in my state, half a million -- saying, 'I don't have insurance, and if I get sick, I want someone else to pay."
(USA Today, July 5, 2005)

This is all basic stuff guys, right off his website. If that isn't conservative I don't know what is.
So no, he isn't a RINO, he's a conservative just like you and I. You don't have to love him; you don't have to vote for him. But please stop calling him a RINO and "not really a conservative." Stop being scared of him just because he's LDS. Learn the facts about him, and then vote.
