HOUSE HEARING ON 'WARMING OF THE PLANET' CANCELED AFTER ICE STORM
HEARING NOTICE

The Subcommittee on Energy and Air Quality hearing scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. in room 2123 Rayburn House Office Building has been postponed due to inclement weather. The hearing is entitled “Climate Change: Are Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Human Activities Contributing to a Warming of the Planet?”

The hearing will be rescheduled to a date and time to be announced later.

DC WEATHER REPORT:

Wednesday: Freezing rain in the morning. Total ice accumulation between one half to three quarters of an inch. Brisk with highs in the mid 30s. North winds 10 to 15 mph...increasing to northwest 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows around 18. Northwest winds around 20 mph.


The irony is so thick you could cut it with a knife. I think this "Global Warming" bit is just a political ploy, used by politicians and entertainers to say "YOU ARE BAD. WE ARE GOOD. STOP NOW, IF YOU KNEW WHAT WAS GOOD FOR YOU AND THE PLANET."

Just as global cooling was destroying the planet in the 70s, global warming is destroying the planet now. And what do the 1970s and 2000s have in common?

This will go away in time. It's just sad that the liberals will make their socialist advances before we even realize it.

I'm so sick of the establishment and the liberal media.

I love the earth, and yes the Earth may be changing, BUT IT ALWAYS IS! That's one of the first things that teach you in grade school science class.

We've had record snow fall here in Indianapolis for the date of Feb. 13th. I couldn't get to work today because there's too much snow and my car won't move. I just wonder where Al Gore and all his buddies who are so concerned with saving everyone are. It seems to me they're only interested in helping people if it has to do with warming or anything associated with it.

It is irony alright but the sad part is, nothing is really said about it.

But - if it had been unseasonably warm instead you can bet the global warming morons would be saying "See!!, see how had it is?!!"

What's ironic is that this cold weather didn't really shut them up. They are saying that global warming leads to cold weather or even a worldwide freeze.

Science is being influenced by politicians who have no knowledge of climate and climate change. They are misusing science and don't know what they are talking about. It has become political and they are using fear and creating histeria.

I think it is funny. We have proof of an Ice Age and Mini Ice Ages and and water beeing where it isn't and even continental drifts. That is because we live on a planet that is unstable and is changing every day. So basically they are putting their money on something that is going to happen anyways. It is like me saying that pollution in LA is so bad that if we keep it up we are going to have an Earthquake. Then we have an Earthquake and I say see. It's gold because we are always going to have Earthquakes. All I have to do is pay a bunch off scientists with my own opinion and if wwe get caught we will just blame Bush.

That is that the Liberals cannot afford NOT to have Global warming to push their global socialist agenda. The Liberals, like all reactionary totalitarians,
come to power by crisis, playing off fear and negativity. This Global warming scam has been their cash cow, something they've invented themselves on some very shaky scientific ground. The fact that Global Warming is bunk science (Just like a big rock falling from the sky and killing the dinosaurs),
