With the Consumer Electronic Show kicking off I thought we needed a thread on the new technology that is shocking the world. The Steve Job's Keynote is tomorrow, and Bill Gates had his today. Both Cnet (http://www.cnet.com/) and G4's AOTS (http://www.g4tv.com/attackoftheshow/index.html) have full coverage on the CES. i'm bored with our technology. honestly.
we need to get a move on with breaking the light barrier that is something i'd be impressed with.
although i do like watching movies on them cutie ipods :D

really? Sony has a 100" lcd tv on display, thats gotta turn you on to tech.

Ok obviously a 100" LCD is nice but its no feat of human technology. Its simply a consumer entertainment item. I mean I wanna see true scientific breakthroughs, not just more ways to make our lives more fun. Kinda get what I'm saying?
Trust me my new computer is amazing and it turns me on and all :D but its not something that makes me sit down and go, "holy crap, thats amazing".
