Who has controlled the Middle East over the course of history? Pretty much everyone. Egyptians, Turks, Jews, Romans, Arabs, Greeks, Persians, Europeans...the list goes on. It's weird how stuff travels on the net. I saw this on one site, then another, then another, and now here this week alone.

Since I like history, this is very interesting.

isn't crazy how everyone wants that little strip of land, ironic how the holiest sites for the three major religions are within the same relatively small area. makes ya wonder....

Yeah, two legitimate religions, and one suspect one. I was reading that Mohammad, according to popular folklore, saw that the Arabs were always resorting to violence, to fighting, to bickering, and saw Islam as a way to calm them down. Talk about adding gasoline to a fire.
