Follow these steps to increase your browsing speed with Firefox.
Open Firefox
Type in "about:config" (without quotations)
Find the following and double click on them and change the values
network.http.max-connections: 48
network.http.max-connections-per-server: 24
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy: 12
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server: 6
network.http.pipelining: true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests: 32
network.http.proxy.pipelining: true
Now right-click anywhere on the page and select New and then Integer
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" (without quotations)
Set its value too zero
Restart Firefox and enjoy faster browsing.
