I would add quotes on what i thought was good but i would be putting the whole artical so ill wait to hear what you guys have to say before i give my opinions

They have been saying that hydrogen is bad for a while. Tops on my list is its explosive properties. Get hit in the right area and your car is now a bomb.
No, we need to be exploring ethanol. It's less volatile than gasoline, and can easily be used even in existing cars (the conversion kit is cheap). It's cleaner and way cheaper than gas.

price and how clean is not the matter, its the energy potential. Gas has much ethonal has a little so while a gallon maybe cheaper you will be filling up more often not a very good trade off, and anyway i dont think putting corn liqour in my tank is a good idea...

1. You don't have the facts. The drop in gas mileage has been measured at less than 2%. The savings FAR more than make up for that.
2. Why isn't putting "corn liquor" in your tank a "good idea?"

2% is not correct ethanol is something like 50-66% efficent (just google ethanol vs gasoline) and even if it were true an engine cannot be run strictly on ethanol so it solves nothing.

Well in the future when we can harvest hydrogen in a more efficent manner I think it will be a good fuel source.
Also I remember reading Penn State is leading research in nano-hydrogen cells. It was just a quick passing and I don't remember much about it. I'll do a search tomorrow when my senses come back (lol, football) an see if I can find a link.

if u read the link then you would see how they mathematicly disproved hydrogen as a fuel source...

Wasn't the car from Back to the Future fueled with garbage?

I've been tinkering around with a magnetic engine.

Using current means of extracting it. I'm not calling for it now, becuase I know its very inefficent currently. But because there is so much emphasis on finding alternative fuels, I expect them to be pushing the technology very quickly.

Wasn't the car from Back to the Future fueled with garbage?Uh.... I'm pretty sure it used plutonium.

why dont you do the same?? and like i said engines dont run off ethanol they run off gasoline so even if it was just 2% less efficent, and every motor is diffrent thats why they get diffrent mileage, ethanol offers no solution to our gasoline problems.

Car and Driver is some random web site found on Google. It's a car magazine.

here consumer report says it sucks too
http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/cu-press-room/pressroom/2006/10/0610_eng0610e85_ov.htm?resultPageIndex=1&resultIndex=2&searchTerm=e85
With the retail pump price of E85 averaging $2.91 per gallon in August, according to the Oil Price Information Service, a 27 percent fuel-economy penalty means drivers would have paid an average of $3.99 for the energy equivalent of a gallon of gasoline.
When Consumer Reports calculated the Tahoe’s driving range, it found that it decreased to about 300 miles on a full tank of E85 compared with about 440 on gasoline. So, motorists using E85 would have to fill up more often.
