Employers in the U.S. added 128,000 workers to their payrolls last month, enough to sustain consumer spending and economic growth as housing weakens.
The gain in employment followed a 121,000 rise in July that was larger than previously estimated, the Labor Department reported today. The jobless rate fell to 4.7 percent from 4.8 percent the previous month. Link (http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aGYjrB6.SiZk&refer=home)
