Tropical Storm Season Below Normal (http://www.weatherstreet.com/hurricane/2006/hurricane-atlantic-2006-below-normal-season.htm)
Well it seems like the global warming crowd lost a point this year. Seeing how global warming (and Bush) were blamed for the horrble season last year, it's quite a relief too see that their prophetic doom for us this hurricane season was proved wrong.
The slow hurricane season and the cooling sea surface temperatures might be somewhat surprising to the public. Media reports over the last year have suggested that, since global warming will only get worse, and last year's hurricane activity was supposedly due to global warming, this season might well be as bad as last season. But it appears that Mother Nature might have other plans.
Bwahahahahahahaha, Al Gore!

Good post Nerf. :thumbup1:
I saw a cute cartoon the other day. It showed two little old people watching TV about global warming, and one said to the other; 'When I was a kid, they used to call it summertime'. :icon_mrgr

We have only had 3 tropical storms so far and no hurricanes. By this time last year we were almost up to K. Hurricane Katrina happened at the end of August and into the beginning of September. This is really strange alright. I laugh at those global warming doom and gloom sayers.

This is great news for everyone trying to rebuild their lives on the coast. this is also good news for me because i just got transfered to the gulf coast. lets not get too excited yet, although this makes al gore look stupid; hurricane season doesn't "unofficialy" end until the end of november.
