What do you think of President Bush's trip to gain favor with France, German, and Russia?

You forgot an option:

"I am sick of Bush sucking up to those jackasses."

Good option, it's been added. Now, if you delete your post, can you revote? I think I know which one you might chose. :icon_wink

My vote went to the added option however you don't really want to know what I think of it.

Bush is wasting his time...Itīs going to do diddly squat..Nothing Nada Zilch....they rather would see the US go down the sewer than admit we have done some good in Iraq....You might see some token 'crumbs' of reconcilation being thrown at Bush from those countries..Don' expect a 'lovefest' from those countries. The other Europeans have been supportive of Bushs efforts..most notably Italy and the Eastern European countries...I got a lot of respect for Silvio Berlusconi, he didnīt back down when Chirac tried to browbeat countries from supporting the US(Especially the Eastern European countries). Chirac has done everything in this power to undermine the US...Both Putin and Schroeder are smart enough to know that they have to deal with Bush(itīs finally sinking in with Chirac). They donīt like it but its something they have to tolerate...Thereīs going to be a lot of smiles and handshaking but the bottom line is..itīs all about serving their interests..ie..who is going to get the contracts to help build Iraq..France, Germany and Russia..reminds me of the neightbor that doesnīt like you. They 'try' to be civil to you. They only bother with you only when they 'have to'..but in the long run...Donīt expect a friendly dinner invitation anytime soon.

The powers that be are using the anti-america propaganda to persuade Europeans to support the European Union (EU). They're being told its the only way they can keep the USA at bay.

Its smoke and mirrors.

I agree with Wadi66 in that he is waisting his time. However, sooner or later they will come to understand that we were always there for them with helping hands and a forgiving heart. This all may be a vain attempt at resolving our problems/differences, but at least we are trying. They still don't like what we did in Iraq, but what can they do? We are the super power who kept France France and all they can do is complain that we stepped into their easy money (fueled by a lunatic who had a tendecy to get off on genocide).

Especially since we freed France from a genocidal lunitic in the first place.

France still thinks we owe them a favour for them helping us in the revolution. The way I see it, we saved their asses twice (the two World Wars) and they saved ours once.

Bush shouldnt even bother with France anymore. They openly support Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations. Besides, they don't provide anything usefull to the worl besides wine and cheese. Other than that they're like any other third world country.

I think the big issue is Bush talking to Putin. Putin is starting to take a dictatorship control of Russia and it can't turn into anything good. The democracy is almost dead there. As for Chirac, screw 'em.

Glad you little hell monkeys are out. Stupidity and Ignorance reigns high in this here little neo-con cesspool. The consistent tone here is..... everyone that doesn't believe in what we (the neo-cons) are told to believe by this administration is BAD.

It's tragically funny. You're all quick to demonize anything and anyone that doesn't goose step along with you. The U.S. government has spent more than 30 billion plus on a missile defense systems that don't work is ok by you nutballs. I would rather duck and cover than to rely on a bad system that has proven time and time again that IT DOES NOT WORK.

The money could be better spent. The reason the U.S. needs Canada is not for approval pinheads. It's because in order for the system to work (HA HA) the early warning radar systems need to be in place in northern Canada.

When are you people going to admit that this Monkey Ass president and his PNAC death-cult machine hasn't done ONE thing right? I won't hold my breath. How goes the free Iraq Mess? Is it civil war yet?

Howdy!

As for the weather, yes we hellmules (we hate apes) do enjoy the cool American air. As for stupid and ignorant, that's your side's buddie Michael Moore, and you forgot liar (who wouldn't know a fact if it bit him on the ass). But now that I'm done wading through this "cesspool" known as a forum and found your wonderful post, I've changed my life and will dedicate it to helping the demoralizing and overlycritical left (sarcastically).

As for the missle defense system, better a poor defense than no defense (ask any boxer, martial artist, fercer, or football player). You would have a point with Northern Canada, except for that little place called ALASKA we control near there. IT may not be ideal, but there's no reason it won't work.

As for my president, he is not a monkey, but an ass (we admire that here in the Show Me State), and to refute your "this Monkey Ass president and his PNAC death-cult machine hasn't done ONE thing right" argument, I'd say he handeled 9-11 pretty D@&^ well.

We asses are proud. At least we don't try to help the poor downtrodden and end up squishing hardworking American's bankaccounts, unlike you lesftest elephants.
