Conclusion: 5 countries allow gay marriage while 22 countries allow civil unions and/or benefits to same-sex couples. 101 countries banned or do not recognize same-sex relationships while 76 countries have banned homosexuality all together. 5 countries allow homosexuality in the bedroom but any signs of affection in public are illegal. 4 countries have specific discriminatory laws.
