Mac sucks.
I pray for your everlasting soul after making that blasphemous remark. :icon_wink
Thanks for the tip.

mc fears that which he does not understand.. mac and linux both "suck" to him because he is scared of them and refuses to learn how to use either one.

My friend has a Mac, and it's pretty sweet. Tons of crap you can do on the Mac that you couldn't on a PC.
Stop the PC Wars. It will never end. Mac sucks - no Windows sucks, Linux is the best - No Linux sucks. My OS can beat up your OS.
Let it go.
Windows rules.

Hey, I work for Circuit City, I can answer that...
Get yourself a headphone (3.5 mm) connection to RCA (red and white) cable, usually goes for about twenty bucks for a good one. Go either headphone out or speaker out of the computer. Connect it somewhere on the reciever that has a free input, then switch it to that input.
One more thing. Get a long one, or extend it somehow if you have to.

Yeah, but mine will give a better transfer of sound since it's a thicker wire. As I said, it's 20 bucks FOR A GOOD ONE. There's a reason why it's only 10 bucks at Wal-Mart!

i got a twetty foot cable and the y-adapter for twetny at radio shack. there's an annoying buzz when the volume is too high, but i just turn it up when music is playing, and you can't hear it.

My sound card has a fiber optic out. My reciever has a fiber optic in.

They're still better than RCA jacks. :)

you say that mc cuz youve never heard fiber through a high-end amp. its a fact that fiber sounds better because it can carry a much higher bitrate than metal conductors.

well, since 99% of music CDs are recorded at 256 kbps, you should consider not buying them out of Guido's trunk behind 7-11? Just a thought...

Fiber-optic is better than gold RCA, unless it's a digital-coax line. You can't send 5.1 surround sound through two red and white RCA if it's made of gold, or platinum, or whatever.

Thanks Vendetta, at least someone else knows what they're talking about...
