Hey IHL, nothing to important, but I noticed that you don't have a Skype icon like you do for AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, and ICQ. Here's (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/b/b3/Skype_icon.png/40px-Skype_icon.png) a pic of the logo.

Hard to explain. It's like AIM or MSN or whatever except you talk instead of write. Not only is this the best tool ever to cheat on SOCOM GBs. Not that I do that. But it's completely free to talk to someone else who has it. All you need are speakers and a microphone, or a headset (I use the one I use with SOCOM). You can make international calls to actual phones for a fee. Basically Skype defeats the purpose of a phone in your house. I rarely look at my cell phone now that I have Skype. I just recently noticed that you have a Skype option in your profile and I thought it looked stupid without an icon.

I prefer AIM because not everyone has Skype.

But yeah, if you get Skype, add me to your contact list so I can verbally explain why SOCOM is far more superior to Halo.

As far as vocal internet communication, Teamspeak, Ventrilo, and Gamecom win hands down. But they aren't designed like phones, they are specifically designed to be used as small-large scale voice chat programs.

Never heard of those. But I think I'll stick with Skype because it's easy and free and everyone I know has it.

I have a grey Skype logo with a question mark on it.

Is it because you are not telling your status?

I'm logged on and my status is 'available.' I guess it doesn't matter, if someone clicks on it, they can still see my username.

Try this...

Make sure you have the latest version of Skype, then under Options | Privacy, select "Allow my status be shown on the Web".
