3 Year Olds To Be Taught About Gays

I know you guys are probably sick of the many gay marrage threads out there- but there is so much new news about it... so I'm going to post another anyway, because this one will really make you want to puke through your nose.

Children as young as three should be taught about
same-sex relationships in a bid to stamp out homophobia
in schools, it was claimed yesterday, by the The National
Union of Teachers (NUT).

But the NUT claims that it needs to go further and early years teachers should be given "the skills and tools to challenge racism, sexism and homophobia" and abusive language.
The NUT document says: "In the case of homophobia, the use of the word 'gay' is prevalent in primary schools and young boys who are perceived to not conform to masculine stereotypes are at risk of bullying, isolation and social exclusion.


I have two main points to make. One- "phobe" is a fear of something. I am not scared of gays, I just belive that what they are doing is wrong. Homosexuallity is an issue, not a fact. I don't agree with it, and don't want my kids growing up thinking that it's "all right". It's not.

Two- Three year olds will not understand the entire issue. And don't give me that, "my three year old knows this and can do that"- I'm saying as a majority they will not understand it. They will learn that "gay" is a naughty word, so what will they say when they feel like being "naughty", or what will they call their mom or dad when they take little Timmy's bike away?

I can think of a few better things NUT can be concerned about with our three year olds. Besides I don't really trust anyone that calls themselves "NUT" anyway.

Three year olds don't need to be hearing about sexual natured stuff anyway. What happened to Reading, writing and Mathematics? If these NUTS have their way, we'll have a nation full of illiterate queers. What's up with that?

Now, they're after our kids. It is brain washing, why don't they let the kids have a normal childhood, why must they now go after our little kids.

Now onto the topic at hand I thought teaching sex to fifth graders was bad enough but this takes the cake...and this is the exact reason the Doctor and I will not be putting our future children in public schools. We will either place them in private Christian schools or homeschool them. I am a college graduate so that qualifies me to teach my children right on through High School. I am a strong supporter of homeschooling and the more I learn the more solid I become in that belief. EWWWWWWWW *full body shiver*.

So under this logic we should be teaching 3 year olds how to use guns. The younger we teach them and get them around guns the more they will respect them and be less likely to use it improperly. See how many libs would go along with this idea.

Well this is brainwashing at it's finest. This won't go anywhere, but it is SCARY that it is being suggested.

Little kids don't need to know about that kind of stuff. I didn't know about sex until I was 10. This is just stupid, nothing more than liberal propaganda. Oh wait that statement describes the entire school system.

No wonder so many parents are homeschooling now. In my town alone there are 5 private schools, one goes all the way to 12th grade, and 2 others that go up to 12th are in neighboring towns. I have friends that were homeschooled all the way to 8th grade, which is the highest their schools went. I have other friends who are homeschooled.

Jr. High? Man we got our sex talk in 5th grade. I really wish they would leave this up to the families. The destruction of the family is helping to undo America. And thinking schools are better than parental advice on these topics is just stupid.

I understand some parents aren't fit to teach their children, some may not even do it at all. Maybe I'm a little too optomistic, but I definately think there are more parents that can raise their kids right than those who can raise them wrong. And its the right of the parents who can do it correctly to teach their kids this. Especially those who don't have the ability to private school, or homeschool them.
