heres why i buy american. i buy american because its better, because i trust it, and most of all because it was made by the best people in the u.s. everything from my car (assembeled in mexico but still american), my shoes (newbalance), my clothes (made in the u.s), and the food i eat comes mostly from local farmers (dairy mainly cause its oberweis and food like corn and such is grown in illinois). i m looking to get a bumper sticker or the likeing for my car that says boycott china or buy american. like the sign on my friends dad shop used to say, "put americans to work and buy american." would you spend that extra dollar for increased comfort or relability, or just knowing you help the economy and keep jobs here. i feel this is the best way to support our country. so ya how do u all feel about this.

Buying American is good... That is if you can even find American products now-in-days...

I have always favored American products, and it's true, they are better made, depends what you buy. That doesn't mean that I haven't bought stuff from other countries, but since this war started, I have been more aware where the products I buy are from. All I have to do is think of the U.N.

It is'nt easy to always buy American, but I do try. When I purchased my new gun I was being shown a Russian made shotgun, but I insisted on an American made gun. Bought the Remington.
I'm in a dilema now. The majority of materials I use for topiary are American made or grown (love that beautiful Oregonian moss!). However, I have one item that comes from Mexico. I can replace it with a similar item from Italy. With all the illegals now poking a stick in the eyes of the Americans who feed them, I'm thinking I'll go with the Italian product from now on.
Yes, BUY AMERICAN (when you can):icon_wink

My guns, sad to say are French and Spanish in make. American companies, though, except the French.

I do pay attention to where products are made now more than I used to. If given the choice between something made in the USA or another country, I always buy the USA product.
Wal-Mart actually had an American made product in it!!!!
DRIE I bought a can of tennis balls at Wal-Mart that were made in the USA. That makes two!

Me, I just buy whatever, don't care who made it. I have no loyalty towards America, however I will admit that American made cars are historically tougher than Jap cars, for example.
