Two Ohio girls could face charges for their real life attempt to imitate a video game. What game?
Super Mario Bros.

:lol2:
Apparently they made yellow ? Blocks in an attempt to play some sort of game, but a bunch of concerned adults (ie squares) reported the packages to the police.
I can see the geeky bomb squad officer giggling to himself as he is opening one of these things. He probably expected to find a mushroom inside instead of a bomb.

The Ravenna Police Department will be working with the Portage County Prosecutor's Office regarding possible criminal charges as a result of the game. Since it seems to be politically incorrect to go after terrorists with actual bombs, this makes sense...in a backwards logic kind of way.
He probably expected to find a mushroom inside instead of a bomb. That or gold coins. Would be funny to see him chasing that mushroom down the street yelling, "Itsa extra life!"

You ever look at Mario's colors in the original, especially once he got his fire flower? That's right, red, white, and brown. Mario's been making kids commies for years.

Yeah, exactly...go after someone the libs won't protect...if that would have been 5 guys from the middle east making those blocks for fun...then they were to get into trouble...the ACLU would have been all over it.

Dude, at the rate this is heading, if they would have made Mario coin replica's...the Secret Service would have gotten involved over counterfeiting.

that's a damn good idea! Although not a good idea to place them at random places around town. Bomb threats are very serious...they don't really take chances with that type of stuff.
I can see it now, they call in a bomb squad for a ? box, and they tap it to see if it explodes and instead it pops out multiple coins. wahahaha!!!

I am honestly speechless. Normally I'd have something constructive or semi-witty to say, but not this time. I can't express how dumbfounded I am by this. Just... just... wow.
Maybe this is why I've started to hate police departments.
