View Full Version : Should queers have their own bathrooms?

I once had a queer proposition me in a men's bathroom. It made me very uncomfortable, and to be honest, he's lucky he's still alive to talk about it. I understand (and accept) that not all gays are like that, in fact I know very few are. But even the polite ones still have hormones, and I'm sure they won't pass up a chance to sneak-a-peak when given one.
So, that's obviously not fair to straight men, and naturally, we can't ask them to use the women's room (or lesbians to use the men's room), so shouldn't public places build a third bathroom for the queers?

Even if they did have their own restrooms, it wouldn't stop a gay person from propositioning others. Men and women don't share public restrooms, and they can still proposition each other.

HillBilly. I don't think you understand the ramifications of what you just said. A third bathroom for gay people? The establishment, the media, liberals, whatever, would kill you. There is no way in hell that would ever happen, because it's segregation. We would take a step back in history regarding Civil Rights ...not good. I don't want a gay guy lookin at my cock either, but I'm not about to tell them to use another bathroom. And do you think they would actually use the bathroom designated for them? It is easier to say "you're black, use that bathroom," being gay isn't a physical characteristic, there would be no way to inforce it.

You've got a fair point there, Bush... at least about the enforcement part. As for the segregation, I really don't care who it offends. There's no reasonable grounds to have blacks use a different bathroom, but there is good reason to have gays use a different bathroom. But you are indeed correct.

First of all HillBilly...I love the avatar.
Secondly, follow Wadi's advice...enough poundings and these guys will stop doing what they do.

They are gay females who are equally as wrong.

Two words will clear out a mens restroom quicker than a fire.....
:icon_mrgr "NICE ONE"...:icon_mrgr
Hill Billy, I don't know where you live but being propositioned should not make you feel angry. Just let them know ever since you were a child you knew you were normal. Make it uncomfortable for them, ask if the smell of a fart excites them. Be secure in your sexuallity!
Bathroom etiquite dictates, after we reach a certain age, we look straight ahead and only converse when we are NOT holding our "firemen". If I were in that bathroom and you got propositioned and I didn't, I'd feel so ugly:icon_eek: I saw a cartoon once with 3 signs on three doors; a male figure, a female and a question mark.:icon_lol:

The 2000 census report states that 1.5% of the population is homosexual. Why construct double the bathrooms just to suit such a small number? You'd have to make lesbian bathrooms, and gay bathrooms. Doesn't seem worth it.

I think its all wrong, however just as gays claim to have hormones they can't control, I can't think of a straight guy that wouldn't be at least a bit interested in 2 beautiful women "getting it on" as Howard Stern used to say.

Then why does the libs demand so much damned equality for them if they are such a small amount? I mean shit, they get more attention that the majority.

I've heard a lot higher numbers. Like 10%.

First, there was a great analogy I once heard a while back that explained liberals (well, it was Democrats, but let's say liberals)
Liberals are the people in a communtiy of 10,000 Christians who demand that the 2 Jewish families get a Star of David in the Holiday parade (no, I'm not quoting the "war on Christmas" with "Holiday", just in my city, we call it the holiday parade).
Second, please don't call them queers, at least not on this forum. Mabye Wadi or IHL don't agree with me, but to me, "queer" is a racial slur. either "Gay", "Homo", "Homosexual(s)", or "Hetero-intolerant" (like "lactose-intolerant"). I know, I'm being an overzealous jackass, but I have a good Gay friend (not in "that" way) at school and he hates being called a queer.
Okay, phew! Third, if gays had their own bathroom, it would be like having unisex (men & women) bathrooms for both men and women at the same time! Suddenly, EVERY homosexual has to do a number 2. Eww, don't wanna think about that!:batty1:

You don't have to justify yourself as being straight. I could care less if you are gay or straight. It doesn't matter to me, maybe some on this forum would discriminate, but not me. Don't feel like you should have to say things like that to not be scared about what others would think. Who cares. ==== 'em.

The gay guy at my school has been suspened twice for beating up girls. Sick bastard.
I call guys like that "queer" or "===".
I also have two gay uncles. Neither of them have ever wronged me.

I would certainly feel more comfortable if they had their own bathrooms, but I realize that it will never happen, which is unfortunate.
The thing I fear the most is when my kid goes to the bathroom. He is young enough that I still go with him, and will for a few more years. I can't go to the bathroom with him forever, though, and he won't be able to defend himself against a grown man for many years. There will be a period where he will go to the bathroom by himself, but not be capable of defending himself, and that scares me.
I wish that there were a practical way to enforce that concept of seperate bathrooms!

Oh, to be so non-self-conscience! I don't mean that as some sort of insult, I mean it in an envious way. I'm too much of a damn pussy to not care, my flaw, my curse.

Do you realize that none of you would be talking about this if the gays hadn't come out? They have been using the restrooms forever. I've never heard of complaints before.
What happen to Hillbilly is rare. I don't think they go into stinky restrooms to pick up men. They go there to do their business.

I am not trying to stir you up on this, but "gay" people are queers and fags...there is nothing wrong with saying that either.
Also, for you to say it is a "racial" slur insinuates that fags are limited to one race. But since they are not, it wouldn't be a racial slur; it would be an "alternative lifestyle" slur.
Besides, more fags call each other queer than straight people call them queer. Sort of reminds me of blacks calling each other "nigga" but whites can't dare even utter the word. We have to refer to it as the "n" word. What are we in elementary school?

Queer Eye for rthe Straight Guy on Bravo. Classic example. They call themselves queers all the time, but not fags.
Cigarettes are called faggots in England.

You've all got excellent points!! I'm glad I found this place ;)
Now, to answer the question...
Do gays offend you? So what do you think of lesbians?
Gay men themselves do not offend me. It's the things they do. The parades, the bold, outward pride, and for the few that do it, the flirting. If you're gay, that's fine. I shouldn't have to know it. I shouldn't be forced to accept and live with your sexual lifestyle. Sexuality refers to a part of life that should be confined to the bedroom! You don't see us strutting around bragging about being straight, having straight-pride parades, wearing the t-shirts, sporting the bumper stickers, and so on.
If you march through the center of town in Provincetown, Mass. wearing a "STRAIGHT PRIDE" t-shirt, you'll be arrested for a hate crime, or at the very least, disorderly conduct, because that's a gay community.
However, if a gay man walks through a straight community wearing a gay pride t-shirt, we're all supposed to shut up about it, and accept it because that's equality, right? I don't think so.
Look, here's my problem with gays... They claim they want equality, yet they already have it! They don't want equality. They want SPECIAL TREATMENT. Period. They want special laws to protect them, special bumper stickers to identify each other, and special parades to celebrate their abnormality.
Yes, it's abnormal to have a goddamned parade, law, or bumper sticker to justify your bedroom activities. They are NOT normal, because they CHOOSE not to be. You don't see us having straight pride parades, do you? (Though maybe we should start).
Gay men that flirt with me, wink at me, call me "honey" or "sweety", or make me want to vomit by the way they "express" themselves are NOT acceptable to me. You're forcing your lifestyle on me, and it makes me uncomfortable. I think they tend to forget that the whole point of their little crusade is so they won't have to feel uncomfortable anymore. Well that's fine, but NOT at the expense of me feeling uncomfortable either.
As for gay women... They're just as bad... especially the ones who hate men. They're scarey!!
Now, beautiful bi-sexual women on the other hand.... :icon_mrgr

Erich, if they did enforce seperate bathrooms, we still have to deal with the child molesters.
