Illegal Immigrant Kills Cop

Well, it's happened again. Only this time we got him before he could get out of the country. An illegal German immigrant shot a Colorado Springs police detective to death on Wednesday as he was approaching the suspect to arrest him in the attempted murder of his sister. It's the first time a cop has been killed in this city since 1982. God rest his soul...

Here's the real kicker: the dickhead was scheduled for deportation in 2004. A federal judge said no, that he gets to stay in this country with no naturalization proces, no nothing. Needless to say, the judge is a liberal idiot who tok pity upon him, even though the man had numerous violent felony convictions at the time.

That makes me SICK! This immigration shit is WAY out of control. Just last year, a Denver cop was killed by an illegal Mexican who managed to get back there before being caught.

This only serves as further evidence that the pricks in Washington need to get their collective heads out of their asses and do something about this! How many more good people have to die?? What about when Al Qaeda pulls off another attack on U.S. soil, after having brought so many of its members here across the Mexican border? Will Bush still tout the advantages of a "guest worker" program for law-breakers? Will liberal judges enforce the law then???

I don't care if he's from another country- he needs the death penalty. I hate the rule that people have to be tried in their own country when they commit the crime somewhere else! He killed a police officer and tried to kill his sister. This man needs life in prison or the death penalty. He shouldn't be around regular people, walking the street!

I think its interesting that he's from Germany. Don't most of us think Mexico or the Middle East when we think about and talk about illegal aliens? Customs isn't doing their job. And we're expecting them to provide valuable support in National Security? That's a laugh.

All: The good news is that he most certainly is eligible for the death penalty. I mis-spoke, the judge ruled him a U.S. citizen because his father is a serviceman, but his mother a German woman. He was born in Germany, came here when he was a child, and has been wreaking havoc since.

Wadi, I kind of thought the same thing, that it's interesting that he is from Germenty. Certainly does not fit the "stereotypical" illegal alien. I wonder if that factored into the judges decision any?

I actually probably should clarify. The guy's parents were never married, he never even tried to obtain citizenship. He never swore the traditional oath of citizenship. The judge just handed it to him on a silver platter, in violation of the rules set up for immigration.

Federal immigration officials wanted to expel him, but had no authority to do so since the judge ruled him a citizen.

Immigration sucks. The "land of opportunity" has become the land of taking advantage.

It was a good idea a hundred years ago, when this country wasn't overpopulated and the immigrants were actually grateful for a new life, and wanted to be Americans. Back when they learned the language (and that language is ENGLISH!!) and tried to fit in. That's what built this country.

Now we're being overrun by no-speaka-de' Eeenglish assholes who want free money, free homes, and special laws and rights to protect them.

I'd like to know how the damn judge got around the laws that were in place. How does he just decide that he's above the law that he's supposed to be enforcing, and can do anything the hell he wants. I think hes just as guilty of murder as the illegal, or at least accessory to murder.
