There are a lot of folks on this site from all over the country. Big cities and small towns have interesting and relevant issues. On many threads people end up having discussions about their local areas and issues. I would like to see a section where local/regional politics are discussed, mainly because I believe that many small town issues or even larger city controversy will eventually spread to all across the country.
Something like:
Your Local Politics
Your Local Issues
Politics Across America
This would provide a forum for discussion that would not interupt other thread topics, and I think it would be interesting to see what the hot issues are in other areas of the country.
Thanks.

seriously thats a good idea, but don't ever let mc moderate until he grows three feet and learns to dance:icon_eek:
mine, tonight, right now, would read something like this...
Your Local Politics=mayoral run off in February. promises to be entertaining.
Your Local Issues=ca. is a blue state, i wish it were a red one.
Politics Across America=i wish there was more respect for our president.
(pressing issues=three stooges is on gotta go:icon_mrgr )
welp, that about sums it up for this hole!:icon_lol:

is going to be very interesting. There are a lot of Republicans turned off my Mike DeWine. He is a "gang of 14" member and recently voted with the DemoRats to take ANWR Drilling out of the defense bill. Paul Hackett, the Iraq war veteran, is the Democrat that will most likely run against him.

That's exactly what I mean buckdodson. You've got an interesting race over there and it's unlikely that I'll hear much about it in my neck of the woods. If you are in a predominantly Republican area and DeWine looses to a Democrat because of his vote then that should be of interest to all.
I would just like to know more about local issues that are not in the national spotlight.
Uh oh Arbiter, MC seems to be chomping at the bit. Be calm MC, be calm.

As bad as it may seem...we don't need to lose any seats in the House or Senate...we can't lose control of them...
