I have always wondered about this on some people....mine is a word that I say about every 10 words or so.
Dag-umm-it : A Southern term used to express a state or moment of increased emotion.
ex. Dagummit boy, get you ass over here.
Where did you get yours at?

What a great thread! I've often wondered myself. Here goes mine:
ErichTheWebGuy - In my previous college career, I studied computer science. I also became heavily interested in networking and the Internet, especially web-based programming. I was learning Perl, (any programmers here will understand this) and I created a construct called "barnyard". I could call different animals from the barnyard, and the "animal" would execute its code. barnyard->cow would print "moo" to the screen.
My friend Tom saw that, and he inserted another "animal" into the barnyard - its name was Erich The Web Guy. Erich The Web Guy said something.. less than flattering. It was pretty funny though. Since then, the name ErichTheWebGuy has stuck.
All American Kid
11-22-2005, 08:51 PM
in my late teens I was a bit wild. Okay uncontrolable nothing like armed robery or the like but more like drinking beer and burning the tires plum bald on the pavement for no good reason wild.
So after pulling one of my stunts I was in a little pow wow so to speak and my buddies mother spoke up and said yes your a bit ramboncious but really your...your...really just an all-american kid living it up while you can.
So now with more respectable pastimes I still am an All American Kid living it up. Ya don't need to like baseball or even applepie a deep love for this land and the will to die for it.
Now dag-umm-it I'm getting choked up now see what'cha gone done and did.

Good thread Dag, I often thought about starting this myself, just never did.
A few years ago I arrived at work and two adult geese were outside the entrance to my workplace with about 6 or 7 of their gosling(sp). In an attempt to protect their young, the adults raised their wings and made pecking motions at me. I was forced to use a notebook to protect my privates. Apparently the scene was quite comical to those watching from inside the building. I was named "GooseBoy" by one of my co-workers.

In my opinion, cows are the perfect race. "Good off and on the plate"- Gary Larson
A madcow. is the evil among all cows. They sit in the herd, poisoning the rest of em.... So it is my duty, to rid this beautiful race of what destroys it. Thus I am......Madcowhunter. Rawr.

I'm something of a Lord of the Rings nerd, and "Argonath" was the word for the statues at the old entrance to what used to be part of Gondor. I liked the thought of being big, mean, and old. Well. . . mabye not old. :icon_eek:

very cool! light and non-abrasive! xlnt post and thread! ground leveler! As for me, similar to a.a.kid with this addendum; I used to enjoy the "sex pistols" way too much, I know all their stuff. Someone called me "toddy rotton" in 1980 and it stuck. later it became a double-entendra with reference to my human condition.

Raver
11-23-2005, 05:10 PM
Raver was the name I made up for my fighter on the first Final Fantasy game (remake for PS because my friend lost my original NES copy). I kinda liked the name so it sorta sticked. However, I'm thinking of changing it to The Osteoclast. I got The Osteoclast from Anatomy and Physiology. On another mainly liberal site, one of my respected friends/insane liberal is named The Iconoclast, so in a play on their name, I made myself The Osteoclast. I sorta like the name now, sounds authoritative.
FKLBRLS
11-23-2005, 07:33 PM
I was thinking about a personalized license plate "number" that would have an anti-liberal message that I could/might put on my first car in 2006. In California you can have up to 7 letters so I thought of slogans. "==== liberals" came to mind, then I shortened it down to fit on a license plate and it became "FKLBRLS". I'm seriously thinking of having plates made but the state has to review them before they're made so hopefully they'll overlook it (like everyone else I told my license plate idea to "FKLBRLS, what does that mean. Ohhh(5 mins later) I get it).
66 = year I was married
Dang Wadi, most people in Hollywood aren't even married 66 MONTHS. But my Uncle still beat you, he was married to my Aunt on November 22, 1963 (guess the significance of that date).

I didnt know that the triple seven was something to do with gods numbers, I just used my then weight of 77 kilograms and added some i's to it, looking like 7i7i, then I just added an extra 7 to make it look better.
