Did anyone else see Mary Mapes on TV crying that she is sure that Bush got special treatment in the Air National Guard. This just makes me laugh. The whole time this was going on I just kept thinking one thing.
WHO CARES!!
Memo to anyone reading this. OF COURSE he got special treatment. if he didn't get special treatment then he got screwed. If my dad was that powerful and I did not get some strings pulled for me I would be sooooooooooo pissed off. Its not right but the way the world works is.. Its not what you know its who you know.
So lets say he did get special treatment (I have no proof either way). WHO CARES! Thats how it works. Good for him! Don't hate the player, hate the game. Mary Mapes ruined her career over a stupid story that reall has no bearing on anything. Its not like we were talking about him being responsible for a someone's death (Ted Kennedy) or that he was making cocaine deliveries with his jet plane. I hate to type this because I do not want the liberals to find out, but their biggest problem is they can't see the forrest for the trees. Something so stupid became what consumed the country for that point and time and even if all the documents would have been real and accurate NO ONE STILL WOULD HAVE CARED!
Its was still amusing to see her sweat and swear up and down he got special treatment. I bet he did... Hope she like being the night shift manager at Burger King.
