I am in a rather pissy mood right now being that Kilgore got beat last night, but my question is why a republican state can vote for a democrat for a governor? This has nothing to do with the polarized negative outlook of the republican party, because a freaking democrap won last time here in VA as well. Other republican states vote for democrap governors too.

Why is this? I really don't understand the logic in it. How can a state (VA) vote 58% republican in the 2003 elections (for 2004) and only vote 46% republican last night? It doesn't make any sense what-so ever. And on top of it all, a republican Lt. Governor and Attorney General won last night.

Then again, you have liberal ass NYC voting overwhelmingly for a republican mayor. Am I missing something?

Dag, I can only ask you, why does Massachusetts have a Republican Governor when you know it has to be very Democratic state since they have Ted Kennedy and John Kerry as their Senators.

I'm not happy either, I am astounded that we lost every proposition that Arnold wanted. I guess the 24 hour ads against them and tearing Arnold down did the trick.

Meanwhile, Warren Beatty and his wife were following Arnold around in his bus, called "The Truth Squad" protesting all the propositions. I think he wants to run for Governor. :icon_roll First he says he does not and then he says he might. God help us.

It seems to me the people of Virginia and New Jersey enjoy having their taxes raised for 4 years while the people of California don't care how money is spent and where it came from.
FT, you're right, in Ca, if it did anything, it proved how stupid the voters from Los Angeles and San Franciso are.

Did you know, that no one ever asks me for my ID when I vote? Do they do that in Virginia or other states.

Maybe they looked at the men and the issues instead of the donkey and the elephant.

Yeah, you have to show ID or sign a affidavit swearing identity. But we can't "disenfranchise" those who can't go get a freaking ID now can we???

Kilgore and Cozine both have stated they plan on raising taxes and cutting the state pension. That is a bad bad idea. That is like saying ..well I don't have that much money, or I refuse to, so I guess I am not going to pay taxes for four years.

you mean Kaine and Cozine. Kilgore was the republican and vowed to veto any tax raising legislation. Kaine on the other hand loves to raise taxes (just like all the damn libs).

Wasn't Corzine the one who cheated on his wife? And possibly got the female pregnant?

Wow, the Democratic party sure has some people with great morals representing them.

Well, look at California. It's a pussy-liberal state, for the most part, and we elected Arnold, who's not exactly a liberal...
