i was having a nice heated debate online with my idiotic republican friend who was spitting out every W quote that she could muster, all of which were incorrect, when at a certain point, she realized that she couldn't back up a damn thing she was saying and put up this ridiculous website as an away message. feeling bored, i clicked on the link and decided to waste some time on your site. i read the first article on the page and felt i had to write to you - for the good of the nation. "john kerry - patholigical liar" is pure bush propoganda. how much is his administration paying you to run this site? you'd better be getting a lot because you've sold your integrity and your soul to a moron like bush. you blatantly lie in your article to slander john kerry, a man that has served our country in the senate for over 20 years, and in vietnam, which is more than you can say about your coked-out, drunkard of a ====-up for president. he made two oil companies go bankrupt and wrote himself a huge fat check before he left - at the expense of the american people. mean while, kerry was joining the public life, and not trying to follow on daddy's coattails. finally, bush didn't win the 2000 election. he lost the popular vote by over 500,000 votes, and because his brother was keeping watch over the chicken coup on election night, 90,000 black voters were disenfranchised, most of which probably would have voted for gore, and even you can't dispute that, although you probably will. and finally, you are one of the most un-american pieces of shit for a website that has ever existed. all you are doing is creating polarity in a country that needs nothing more than to rally around a quality leader that won't lie to the american taxpayers to get his oil and further his political gains. rot in hell you bastard, the liberals are the ones that got it right and you're just too stupid and ====ed up to realize that. bitch

Thats funny, state governors have no control over elections. The worst you could say was that the state legislatures fixed it, but there is no proof for that. Please back up you disenfranchisement claim with at least 3 sources (to make it a bit easier, you can use liberal sites).

And clearly Jeb Bush is a top-notch coordinator. Coordinating a disenfranchisement effort on that scale is quite a massive undertaking, I mean the major cities alone must have taken days to disenfranchise everyone, not to mention all the back woods towns and swampy areas. And the fact that he was able to disenfranchise only black voters without running afoul of numerous civil rights groups and black law-makers is very impressive.

I'm tired of the arguement over whether Bush stole the election or not.

This is America, a Constitutional republic, not a democracy. Talk to any political scientist with a B.A. and they'll tell you that.

Our president is elected through the electoral college, not the people. The electoral college members are meant to reflect the state governments' decision, not the people. Ultimately, yes, the people have the power. If the electors don't vote the way you wanted them to, you vote the bastard out of office who appointed them and next time maybe the appointee will be picked a little more carefully.

Contrary to popular belief, the electoral college does NOT have to vote the same way as the popular vote.

The margin between Bush and Kerry is so close that it falls in the margin of error. Meaning you can do the counts 5 ways and get a different answer each time.

But Kerry conceded with honor, like a man, which is more than can be said for the people who scream 'foul!'. I may not agree with the man, I don't even like the man, but he did know when he was beat and he didn't drag the nation into another month long ordeal of recounts and everyone in the government who actually can do something to end it, sit on their hands and whistle.

I never thought I'd say this, but take a page out of Kerry's book and give it up already.
