Dear IHL,
Your site is a "sight" for sore eyes. Being the lone conservative in most of my classes at my high school, it is great to see some relief from the relentless debating with the so called "free thinkers" and to have a site that does nothing but support the common sense beliefs that this great nation was founded on. I am flabbergasted by the quasi-socialists who give nothing but ignorant criticism to a president that has taken us through so much while at the same time being extremely ungrateful to the people who give them the freedom to say things like that.

The other day I had a conversation with a girl in my English class that awakened me to the degree of ignorance that some people, especially high schoolers, posses about political subjects. The girl that I talked with said some of the most offending things I have ever heard in my life; I am not offended easily. She said that our nation's military is fighting in vain, for a freedom that doesn't exist in our country. What is ironic is that while saying this she was standing in the English wing of a public school; I'd like to see her try getting a free education in Saudi Arabia. Situations like these illustrate the problems with liberalism. Liberalism is not a philosophy, it is an attempt to rebel against conservatism; and like many attempts to rebel, has failed miserably. People like John Kerry who base their opinions on the political climate of the time rather than their own personal beliefs are the true definition of liberals, and I look forward to the day when these people start thinking for themselves rather than against us. Who knows what crazy and stupid opinions will come out of their minds. Although liberals pride themselves as being "free thinkers" and that they are supposedly "better" than conservatives, the real truth lies in the fact that they are at their very core simply Anti-American. Over the past 50 years, the Democratic party has taken a sharp turn from the amazing Roosevelt to the "amazing that he thinks he's a good politician" Kerry. The Democratic party now stands for nothing but arguments, and I thank you for mixing that fact in with the great liberal bashing humor that attracted me to this site in the first place. Oh, and may GOD BLESS AMERICA! (Go ahead liberals, sue me!)

I get a bit frightened when I hear some of the comments coming from the 'young skulls full of mush' as Rush would say. The only good news I can try to gather from that, is that they may outgrow their ignorance. We can only hope. -IHL
