The group also wants the sheriff's office to halt any cleanup at the jail because it could destroy evidence that prisoners were left standing in bacteria- and petroleum-laden floodwater.

Oh for gods sake. The last thing we need right now in NO is the ACLU. Good god, why do they have to do this? did anyone ever think our courts/judicial system would be more streamlines if these organizations just accepted the fact that people don't CARE about the inmates when their houses are floating away!What happens when a bully starts pushing others around and they don't stand up and fight? He/she pushes harder and more frequently. The ACLU is the bully. People have backed down to them, they now feel empowered to dictate to everyone how American society will operate.
