Although it is very early in the process and for those of you who may be paying attention, you can sort of watch the site being built before your eyes, what do you think of the new concept for the site?

The question is, keeping the infancy of the new design in mind, what do you think so far. The intent long term will be to import a lot of the content of the main site into the forum and make it a more interactive site. This main page will contain many of the new posts from me and my thought and articles and a more seamless interaction with the forum. Lets see how it goes, I can always go back to the way it was.

Hey good idea with the renovation of the site, it makes me feel like I play a larger role in the site and that my anti-left opinions are shared with everyone else.

I like the way this site looks. I'm not sure how it looked before, because I've only been here for about ten minutes, but I like it. Thanks for asking, though.

The site looks great, I would like to "browse" for my avatar and be able to use a spell checker but, very nice site.

Also, I am not one to use the word "hate" lightly and I can say that I really don't hate anyone, despise, dislike, yea. Maybe if I took tedquagmirekennedy seriously that feeling might begin to errupt but until then I'll remain calm.

I am conservative for the most part.
If I was a woman I wouldn't like someone telling me what I could not do but, killing a human is not right either so, I'm torn on the abortion issue.

What I see going on in the democrapic party is definately something I don't want to be associated with. The "right" has been quite too long, it's time to fight back and spread the word.
You guys are doing a great job,

Something else,

aren't polls kinda useless, fun but useless?

don't they always tell you what you want to hear anyway??

Ask John Kerry's exit polls.

Good questions Beezlebug. As for the polls- yes, they are mostly for fun. I suppose I know how most people will answer them, but with the option to discuss them, it does sometimes create some interesting debates.

As for the spell checker - there are few hacks available that integrate into the forum but for the most part they are not 100% compatible. Therefore I am a little leary to install them. I've put too much work into this site to have a hack break it. I use a program called IESpell. You can find it at www.iespell.com (http://www.iespell.com). I like it a lot. It does not integrate into this forum - it is part of Internet Explorer. That means you can use it on other sites also. The downside is that it only works with IE so if you are using Netscape or FireFox, it won't work. But if you are using Netscape, you deserve to have issues. :icon_smil

Thanks for your comments and for visiting the site. - Oh, there are not 'guys' running this site... it's just me.

There are spell checkers for FireFox and Opera, and there is another freeware spell checker available that intigrates with not only IE, but all of windows, and I might be able to dig up that info at work, but I don't have it here.

Yea, I bet the polls do spark a spirted debate.
What's funny is when I started hitting all the news links that had polls it was easy to find out which ones were favored by right or the left just by the polls. Fox usually gets some mixed results and I think the libs hang would out over Hannitys site just to skew his results but, anyway it was getting pretty old when you could predict the results.

Oh yea, your defination is right on target
