Why can't Liberals and Conservatives The nation 'round make friends? The parties want basicaly the same thing. . . . A better life for Americans. We can say they arn't patriotic, we can say they are terrorists, but 9/11 didn't just kill Conservatives, it killed Americans. It destoyed a nation's self identity. Before 9/11, We knew who to blame. I can't even remember who it was, the time was so long ago. Or I was to young. Now it's just protest after counter-protest. It's got to stop, people! The liberals I know only want what's best for the country, just like conservatives.

We want less crime. we want better prices on neccesary pills that will help us live without sopnding a fortune every bottle, or a qaurter million for a bone-marrow transplant. we want our kids to have the best education they can get without worrying about ten grand for a dorm for a semester. we want to be safe without spending 500 million dollars on the millitary bugdet. we want clean water. we want equality for everyone. we want to give our surplus food to starving third world countrys instead of burning it. we want clean air with cars that wont nuke the atmosphere. Some of these things we have already, but we're ganna have to work damn hard for most of the other things that we want, just like our some odd number of fathers before us. Some say it can't be done, we didn't repel the English in 1812 with that attitude, we didn't save England and France in 1917 with that attitude, we didn't save them again in 1941 (december, if you'll recall) with that attitude. we didn't have that attitude in the country for Vietnam, and look were that got us. we need to unite in order to beat our demons to death with over iszed novelty pens! CAN I GET AN "AMEN" !?!

Some goals may be similar...but methods to reach such goals and implementations are often quite opposite of eachother.

Yeah, but many of the ideas of a "better life" are polar opposites...

Take the liberal better life for example:

The removal of Christianity from public life
The right for people of all ages to have any form of sex
The right for the same people to destroy the child at any age
The right to take unlimited amounts of money from the people and give it to someone else
No national language or identity of any kind

The list goes on and on. People disagree.

1) Seperation of Church and State mean what?
2) I doubt a five year old will - - his sister.
3) They arn't ganna kill someone 30 years old. It's like they come to your house, pull out a list and ask your name, they nod to each other, then they pounce on you like a tiger. They just are either for the rights of women to do what they want, or they're just confused on what they're doing
4) when did this happen?
5) English being established for over 200 years mean. . . . ?

they disagree, I'll give you that, But, on the whole, we want what's best. namely, what that person believes is best for America on the whole. Washington warned us about having multible parties, mabye this is why. Because people want the same things but want to achieve it differently. Liberals whine, Conservatives brood. It's like young kids and old people.

1) Seperation of Church and State mean what?In the first place that doesn't exist in the Consitution, as hopefully you are already aware. #2. To someone who isn't religious, separation of Chruch and State means we shouldn't allow religion to influence our government or be on public display, but its okay for the government to meddle in Church affairs. Like if a Church spouts political views, the government can withdraw their tax exempt status. Or the government prohibits Churches from marrying people without a license. The list goes on.....

2) I doubt a five year old will - - his sister.I think you missed the point behind his comment

3) They arn't ganna kill someone 30 years old.I don't think your reply is relevant to his remark

4) when did this happen? Its called welfare

5) English being established for over 200 years mean. . . . ?Language is a unifying factor. Remove it and the cohesion is gone.

Liberals like to tell you they want whats best for this country but it isn't so. They want a utopian society and at the same time deny the existance of the only man who can provide it. I have so many issues with the mentality of liberals I can't even begin to list them all.
