Hello,

As the IHL/TAR site/forum expand, I would be interested in finding a way to harvest negative references to the site from the web to then blast them to pieces. So far maybe a handful come up, one of them being Chi's.

What do you think?

Well, not being a techie, my first idea would be to make some sort of script to harvest references to this site/URL.

Otherwise, it might be a nice thing for interested forum members to do (check on negative references to this site) from time to time and post them.

Just a thought....

I know what it's like to have a bunch of flamers infiltrate a site. It happened here and it's juvenile. It was mostly kids that thought it would be cute to try to bring down this site. They couldn't hack it but they did try to flood it and post a bunch of gibberish. That is when I called in reinforcements and obtained the help of the moderators.

I would not encourage anyone to do the same to another site. It would reflect badly on this site and the members. Let the liberals play their childish games. If you want to try to engage them intellectually, that's fine. The problem there is that if you corner them on facts, they'll just ban you. At that point, consider it a victory.

I ban liberals when they get abusive on the site. Liberals ban us when we argue with facts. That's the difference.

So again. I'd rather not see you flood their site. Rise above their childish tactics don't lower yourself to their level.

They feel the same way about you all...I've heard them echo that exact same line directed towards conservatives. just try to keep that in mind.

Politics, gotta love it.

Maybe, eventually, the people who can see past the politics will take control, and all the radicals will just get locked up or exiled to France or Iraq (depending on if yer liberal or conservative) and the moderate independants will get our country back.

I can dream... :P

p.s. I found this site via a link posted by a conservative member of one of the liberal arts forums I'm on. Seeing as he's one of the moderators, and a founder of the board, I dont see him being banned any time soon. While we've discussed how to approach this forum, no one has suggested we come over on the offensive and attack you. AFAIK I'm the only one from there that's managed to make a post here, and my impression of this forum has changed since i first heard of you. (edit: mostly ffor the better)

I know I slip up sometimes, but I do try to set a good example.

I wasn't suggesting that we go to other sites and flood them, or otherwise cause trouble. My suggestion was to blast them to pieces here on this site, and respond to the critics that are too chicken to make their way over here.
