Ok what this is is an account written by some guy that thinks the goverment should control everything. And it is from a liberal, which makes "no sense" according to Hollywood and most stand-up comics. Here is how each and every entry is bs:

1. ...makes an attempted crime a non-event. If an attempted crime fails, what does it matter? The police have enough business already. If a crime is prevented, it is prevented, no need to "investigate, ...". And if guns foil an attempted crime, wouldn't the potential victim call the police anyway?

2. 4/1000 of 1% of guns are used in crime each year...too high!? This one speaks for itself.

3. In 98%...defenses...no shot fired...guns unnecessary..not going to fire..don't need gun... The reason guns are used for defenses even if no shot is fired is because GUNS ARE FEARED. And someone who fears you isn't going to commit a crime to you or in front of you

4. Tough law DC, crime high. That just proves gun laws raise crime

5. Thanks for telling us about gangs, what are you trying to say here?

6. ...Police will protect after the fact, no woman needs to prtect herself... BS!!!. There are many crimes commited every year because the police didn't get there in time or were understaffed and busy with other crimes

7. ...disrespectful of authority, overly independent attitudes... PROVES that it is the left, NOT THE RIGHT, which thinks we shouldn't be very independant.

8. ...Taking law into own hands, wrong, only police should uphold law.. I thought it was a free country. I thought we had the right to protect ourselves if need be.

9. Children should remain ignorant...Ignorance should be protected. 1st, kids will NEVER be ignorant to guns. 2nd, Ignorance and protected should NOT be in the same sentence. Just shows, once again, the left is the side that thinks people are stupid, NOT the right, as the left claims.

10. Reduce people's reliance on the govt. We are not SUPPOSED to be reliant on the govt 100%. That's why we were founded, to have minimal government restriction and reliance.

Someone's signature on this site quotes Ben Franklin, saying "those who want to sacrifice a few freedoms, in order to gain a little personal security, deserve neither." Good use of a quote, whoever had that as a signature. (I'm sure I'll remember your screenname eventually)

I actually starting to get into the liberals pushing for more gun control- really. Between gun control and gay " marriage" democrats will continue to lose elections and that is a beautiful thing.
