10 Reasons Gay Marriage Is Wrong...
1.Homosexuality is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
2.Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay… in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3.Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4.Heterosexual marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5.Straight marriage will be less meaningful if homosexual marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour, just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6.Heterosexual marriages are valid because they produce children. Homosexual couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7.Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
8.Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9.Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10.Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms – just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

nah - the real reason that there will never be any gay "marriage" is that besides it being another hilarious liberal idea it is just plain wrong.

In Response to your points:
1. Anyone who wants to keep healty and live long knows to eat natural foods and drink plenty of water. Extra conveniances, such as ac are ment to help us relax and live longer.
2.Yep, because tall people can influnce short people to grow.
3.Sure why not? If you allow one evil others will be sure to follow.
4.What you stated after the comment about hetrosexual miarrage was irrelevent and what we want is only hetrosexual marriage and dont want it to change!!!
5.Wasn't she married in Las Vegas in a 24 hour "chappel" by the state not a preist?
6.You would probally want to abort them, but who says old people and "inferille" couples cant have children? What about Abraham and Sara or Hank and Peggy Hill? If God will bless them then it is possible.
7. Oh now you liberals dont want to argue product of their enviroment? So then it must be the minorites falut they commit crimes?
8. Theocracy?? Lol not here and anyways I love having my freedom to speak out against something I disagree with infringed on because it has religious backing and influnce.
9.I live with just my mom and I cant tell you how much I wish I had my dad around to teach me things and take me to the gym and play sports and stuff.
10. I shouldn't be forced to accept anything I disagree with, but that probally doesnt matter to you cuase im a Catholic

The above is a satire of arguments against gay marriage, I didn't write it. It's in the humor section because it's funny, not because I wanted to have a serious debate about the arguments in it.

gay rights.
Really funny. Not the gay rights part, but the fact that gay people have as many rights as other people, but since they can't get married their goal is to make everyone believe they are opressed to prove their point.
An example: John Kerry in a Democratic debate, November 2003. "What we're talking about here is somebody's right to be able to visit a loved one in a hospital, somebody's right to be able to pass on property, somebody's right to live equally under the state laws as other people in the country"
Of course, as most people know, Gays already can visit loved ones (or friends, aquantances, or total strangers) in hospitals, they can pass on property to anyone they like (including their cats), and their are no special laws pertaining to only gays.
Ann Coulter sums this kind of thing up pretty good. "You would think there were 'Straights Only' water fountains the way Democrats carry on (as if any gay man would drink nonbottled water)
In addition, several months ago a boy and girl at a middle school in Oregon were suspended for kissing in a hallway. The school backed up the suspension saying, "it would be offensive to some students."
In 2003, the Massachusetts supreme court "discovered" that the state constitution (written in 1780) requires the state to allow gay marriages. The Massachusetts state constitution was written by John Adams, who was quite religious, and includes plenty of references to "the great legislator of the universe"
Now, there are starting to be stories that several historical figures, (like Da Vinci or Abraham Lincoln) were secretly gay.
If a kid calls someone gay at school, the shit hits the fan and the kid is suspended, if a kid runs around saying F*ck at school all day, maybe a detention.
I do not hate homosexuals, let 'em burn in hell for all I care, but I do hate it when homosexuality is promoted as being normal

Saying the F word is a bit less destructive (for lack of a better word) than someone at the school saying that someone is gay, because of these controversial times. Funny enough, the 2 gays at my school (it's a private one, only 100 people :icon_bigg ) like nothing else than letting people know they are gay. Not in the way you might be thinking. . . . pervert. . . . anyway, they arn't up in your face about it, but, if your a new kid, you learn from observation. But, your right, the whole suspension thing is kind of outa proportion. mabye if the same kid did it to the point of harrasment, then he should be suspended, but off the bat is kinda harsh.

yeah, but most of the arguments me and my brother hear are almost always religous, so I just appealed to that crowd. If you want something more scientific on the matter, you'll have to ask my brother. or rather, you ask me, and I'll ask him.

Remember that 82% of the US is Christians, and only about 52-53% is conservatives. There are many Democrats who claim to be "religious" but still support gay marriage. The fact is that there are two sexes, and there would be no point in having both if having two members of the same sex in a relationship is "normal"

yes, yes. I'm not saying it's normal. It's actualy sort of a freak of nature because (I'm one of those guys that blames chemicals for it) of the imbalance between Testosterone and Estrogen. That sounds familiar. oh, I wrote it before. well, there it is again. I think there is also some sort of scientific theory or some such that in the absence of another gender, some of the current females/ males will grow the hormone necesary to reproduce. Or, they're just fakin' it. who knows?

I was debating a liberal on another site about gay marriage. He claimed he was a Christian, but he was opposed to his Church's opposition to gay marriage, and a few other things. He said that he like to do things (like read Da Vinci Code) because it pissed off his Church. It seems to me that a lot of liberals these days put politics above religion while claiming to be "Christians". If he were truly a Christian, he would be fully aware of the Bible's stance on the issue.

That's exactly what it is. The way homosexuals are portrayed it is as if they woke up one day and decided to become gay. They are gay their whole life. Some don't even want to but they know they are. The attraction to the same sex is something they can't help. The actions based upon this attraction they can help. It used to be that homosexuality was a mental disorder, but then they took it out of the DSM.

So true. An example of this kind of person would be John Kerry or Hillary Clinton. Both claim to be Christians but neither one acts like a Christian.
