The rules here are simple. This is meant to be a discussion forum, not a forum for cat fights and name calling. It is meant to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and unlike many other political forums, I may allow opposing viewpoints at the discretion of myself and the moderators. Unlike the liberal forums that instantly delete anything they don't agree with, I may allow intelligent and articulate responses from the other side. That said, keep in mind this is a conservative site. No one says you have free speech here.
Please keep the threads on the topic of politics and current events. This isn't meant to be a MySpace page. If your thread is removed from the site, don't take it personally. Remember, all content on this site is at the discretion of the administrator and moderators.
Personal attacks and/or threats OF ANY KIND will not be tolerated. Conduct yourself in an intelligent and adult manner and you will be treated as such. Miscreants, delinquents, ne'er-do-wells, rabble-rouser's, instigators, agitators, evildoers, and the like will be banned.
The moderators are here to help control this forum. Treat them with respect or you will be banned.
Plagiarizing (stealing), cutting and pasting entire articles from other sites is not allowed. Using a brief section of another article for reference (and linking to the rest) is fine, but respect the work of others.
Do not "quote" the entire thread of a previous post when replying to that post. If you need to reference a certain section of a previous post, please only quote that section. This saves time and bandwidth and make the forum flow more easily.
Overtly offensive material or links to such sites will result in immediate and permanent banishment from the site.
Profanity, while not explicitly prohibited is discouraged. Continued or prolific use will result in being banned from the site. If you can not express yourself without profanity, you probably aren't contributing to the site anyway.
The use of real names on this site is prohibited. Use a nickname or 'handle' and not your real name. There are too many wackos out there to be putting people on some stalkers list of people to harass.
Since this is America, this site is "English Only". Nothing against our foreign friends but just as it should be in America, if you come here, speak the language.
The chat room is used for civil chat. Any abuse, immoral, or illegal activities are strictly prohibited. The chat room is logged and monitored.
Name calling, taunting, bullying will now have a zero tolerance policy. There is no reason to insult someone you disagree with. Debate all you want, just be an adult about it. (Even if you aren't one.)
These rules are to be considered as guidelines and do not cover everything. Use common sense and common courtesy when posting. Whining about other users will most likely only call attention to you.

NOTE: Due to a huge increase in spam posters, the posts of new users may be subject to approval of the administrator before those post show on the forum. This is determined by the content of the post. If your post does not show up immediately, it is more than likely because it has been flagged as potential spam. These posts should show up within 24 hours or less. Some privileges such as the ability to send private messages and view the member list may not be available until you are an established member of the site. I don't want a bunch of bots coming in here and spamming members.
