View Full Version : The NAGs are marching
For those that don’t know it, I’m borrowing the term NAG from Rush Limbaugh. Rush uses the term NAG (National Association of Gals) to describe the National Organization for Women (NOW). NAG is much more fitting and a much more accurate description of this group of - well, nags.
I don’t have a problem with women. In fact, I think every man should own one. (Ok, just kidding. I couldn’t resist.) I do have a bit of a problem with the idea of women being treated equally to men. Men and women aren’t equal. Men are better at some things, women are better at others. I think women – and any other group of people for that matter – should be treated fairly, but that is a whole other debate.
What I do have a problem with is groups that think that because they have started an “association”, that somehow gives them some sort of right to push their cause in my face. The don’t. What’s my point? I’m glad you asked. It seems the NAGs have declared a “state of emergency” (http://apnews.myway.com/article/20050702/D8B39M880.html) in light of the recent resignation of Justice O’Connor. I told you the liberal extremists would start circling the wagons, and this is just the beginning. The current president of the NAGs, Kim Gandy says, “This is our time. This is our challenge.” No it isn’t. This has nothing to do with you and it certainly isn’t your time. What makes Gandy think that because a Supreme Court Justice retires, this somehow means this is her time? This is the problem I have with these self serving, self centered, elitist trollops. Gandy goes on to say, “We’re going to march on every Capitol in this country.” Fine. The NAGs certainly have the right to march, but for what? President Bush hasn’t even nominated anyone yet. What they are trying to do is instill fear in the American people and especially in American women. They are trying to create a false impression that the world for women will fall apart if a liberal isn’t appointed to replace O’Connor. Don’t take my word for it. The NAGs web site currently displays the heading, “Justice O’Connor Resigns … Women’s Lives on the Line.” (and no, I won't provide a link to their site.) Who knew that Justice O’Connor was the sole person in America to hold the lives of women in her hand.
What the NAGs are really protesting against are the choices made by the majority of America. That choice was to elect a conservative president, a conservative House and a conservative Senate. They should allow the president to do what he was elected to do and appoint who he feels is qualified and then let the vote occur. Of course the liberals won’t do this. They will block the nomination (http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=906233&CMP=OTC-RSSFeeds0312), who ever it may be. And groups like NOW are willing to do anything they can to keep their liberal judges in power. It's all they have left. The American people have rejected them and if they lost the judges, they'd lose everything.

the feminazis (my all time favorite "Rushism") are flipping out because they feel their "right" to murder unborn children may be compromised. The hypocrite cupid stunt club of nasty women is all up in arms over the fact that there may be some -gasp- restrictions put on abortion- like the parental notification. They assume that what they hold dear is not subject to government regulations like every other damn thing is now in America. They are just so special. This NOW group (the Nazi orginization of men hating wymen) who are always so ready to put restrictions and laws on everybody else have their oversize panties all in a scruntch beacuse their "power" may be compromised.
While I personaly find unrestricted abortion an abomination and extremely repugnant I do even as a Neanderthal gun toting Bible thumping illiterate redneck understand that there are too many restrictions by government on all phases of Americans. What really pisses me off is that this group of women have the special right which is nowhere mentioned in the Constitution and seem to think that they have a monopoly on government keeping out of their "reproductive rights" ie the right to kill unborn babies. How about abortion on demand being a states rights issue? Why not have a referendum on it? How about the government getting used to Americans having real control over the laws that affect them instead of some bloated government official or lawyer saying - ok you women you can do anything you want but oh no you guys over there you must submit to restrictions on your rights. The whole think smacks of unconstitionality wherein all people are equal but some are much more equal than others. How come this one group has no restrictions while all of us- ALL OF US have some restrictions on OUR freedoms. The hypocrisy pisses me off more than the concept of "reproductive rights".
In this country today things like affirmative action , hate crimes and many other brainstorms of legislation have created a special class of folks who have more rights and protections than others and to me that seems very un- American. The culture war rages on and some folks actually scratch their pointy liitle cranial coverings and wonder what all the fuss is about. It's about using the power of government and the courts and the press to put some people's rights and value(s) above someone elses. We will never have peace in America until all folks are treated equally.

I got in trouble with a co-worker once. Turns out, she had stress in her life, maybe losing her job soon, too much drinkin', coming in late, etc... Warnings and poor treatment and animosity from our boss (who she had dated, bad break-up) and his gang of boys. She decided I was "understanding", began to befriend me, stabbed me in the back with accusations of sexual harrasment. I proved that wrong, slam-dunked her ass. I really did feel sorry for her, but now, I couldn't care less. I waited for everything to cool down. She had bought herself job security. Work atmosphere was tense. One day she could think of nobody else to work with, came over by me...
how did I receive her?
"don't you have some dishes to wash, or something?
<She went ballistic!>
"Whatsa matta honey? heavy flow day? hmm?"
<she dumped my coffee on me>
"Look, honey; I'm really sorry about that double mastectomy, but really, one of these days, you're gonna have to come to terms with things."
<she *hit* me.>
"OWW!" - as I hold my red, stinging cheek... coffee steam wafting from my messed up hair;
I realized..as she stormed off crying; what did I gain by hurting her? I had a pretty good idea of how stressful things were for her. That was mean of me. Mean people suck. I'm not gonna let someone else's behavior dictate that I behave badly. Just because she wants to act like a flaming bull on crack doesn't mean I have to be a misogynistic idiot.

Guys, guys, guys...I do hope that you will not take the opportunity to rip women in general just because the 'gals' at a loonball organization like NOW are a bunch of howling hags on the march. Don't believe for a single second that they represent the real women of this country. In fact, I do not have a single family member, friend, associate or anyone that even comes to mind that I know of that would ever support a group like NOW.
NOW is made up of angry men-haters that want to put their victimhood on display. These are what I like to call the 'Oprah Worshippers'. These are women who have invested a great deal of their lives into thinking up ways to blame others for their miserable exhistence. And who do they blame? Not just men, it's the nice true conservative gentlemenly types that they go after while they hold up a womanizing bastard like Bill Clinton as their hero. And Tom Cruise says there is no use for psychiactric drugs? LOL! All you need to do is look at the psychos at NOW to know that we are not dispensing enough medication.
Okay guys, you can be mad at the women that falsely accused someone of sexual harrasment. She deserves punishment and should have been fired in my opinion. Unfortunatly, organizations like NOW have pushed their sickening agenda to the point where men are no longer even allowed to compliment an attractive woman in the workplace without risk of legal action. The secret that NOW does not want you guys to know is that REAL women love to be complimented. It's just the unhappy men-hating hags at NOW that feel empowered by becoming the 'victim', especially in the workplace.
Now don't go taking this out on the real ladies out there okay? We all have bad experiences. Believer was falsely accused of sexual harrasment, Master Chief had a bad break up, and I was once married to a computer geek. If I can get over the past and my poor hurt feelings of being dumped as a computer widow by the president of the Atari computer club then you guys can get past unfortunate times with loonball women.
Now go and find a nice woman and treat her like a lady, and you will be treated like a man should be treated. Trust me on this one.
And for you IHL...'Own a woman'??? I'm afraid I'm going to have to report you to Gloria Alred for that one. Be afraid. Be very afraid. The woman with the blue eyeshadow is gonna get you!!!

I once ran into the head of NOW. She had a news camera in her face, microphone in her hand, standing in front of the local federal building. I walked between her and the camera, pointing to the ground behind her, I said "ya dropped yer strap-on". she looked! cameraman lost it, she gave me such an evil glare. The camera was still shaking as I ducked into the crowd.

Topiary Lady you brought up a good and viable point. One which needs to be addressed. I have written in to several left wing sights on the "feminazi" issue. the response from the left wing womenazis is lockstep. They always resort to asking why I hate women- au contraire I procalim I do most ceratinly do not hate women. I am married to one and have two great daughters. What I always counter back with is the question to them asking them why they hate men. This befuddells them because of their feminazi programing from college women's studies or the NOW brainwashers because they absolutely do not realize they are acting like they hate men. They are programmed to consider men the enemy and out to destroy women.
My best eaxample is a real nice young girl I used to know. She went off to a liberal college in NY and when she came back she looked for and accused everything of "sexism". She now suffers from severe depression and is still looking to get married but cannot because she can't get past her feminazi indoctrination beacuse they convinced her men are the enemy.
No not all women are nasty men hating feminazis. My reason for the disdain toward the radical men hating feminist movement is how they absolutely ruined the Ameerican family and have never accepted responsibilty for it or as of yet have not even been asked about it by the the feminst supporting liberal media. Feminism is the ultimate paranoia and totally selfish training camp . These women all share a definite mental sickness and mass psychosis that is taught not just caught. They are trained and indoctrinated that men are out to get them and enslave them .
thankfully many women are rejecting the feminazi indoctrination these days and understanding the origins and reasons for these men hating mastodons to be as illogical and stupid as they are. Just beacuse I rail against the feminazis does not mean that all women are feminazis. Real women know who they are and do not need some dingbat dyke men haters to tell them what to think.

The femanazi issue cannot be fixed until it is realized by all Americans. The entire left and even some moderate I-don't-really-associate-with-either-party-and-just-vote-for-whoever-happens-to-be-the-better-politician-regardless-of-party people still believe that women are paid less, women are the second sex, girls and women are discriminated against, never realizing the facts.
-Most of the fake psychological disorders, like Asberger Syndrome, most of ADD, and a host of other "disorders" that are no more than a label applied by shrinks so that insurance will have a reason to give them money for treatment; are applied almost exclusively to males. An example: Say there is a teacher who is extremely boring. Both a boy and a girl stop paying attention because of the teacher's tediousness. The girl gets let off with a warning while the boy gets "diagnosed" with ADD.
Let's say both a boy and a girl talk out of turn or curse regularly. The girl bets labeled as having bad manners while the boy is "discovered" to have Asberger Syndrome.
-Car insurance costs less for women
-In today's legal system, women are innocent until proven guilty while men are guilty until proven innocent. Kobe Bryant, male sex offenders, etc aren't innocent until proven innocent, while women like Martha Stewart, Michael Jackson, or Mary Kay Letourneau were all innocent until proven guilty
-Women have just as equal an opportunity to get a well paying job than men, but fewer take it
-It is easier for women to get accepted at a college than men
-If a woman decides to have a baby instead of taking her birth control pills like she told her husband she would, then she can demand that the husband pay child support.
-If a husband runs off, it is easy for a woman to demand that he pay child support, but if a wife runs off, the man can't demand that she pay child support.
What must be understood about the feminazis is that many of them either went to an exceptionally more-liberal-than-most college, or they had a bad experience with some drunkard who beat them and then assumed that all men were that way.

The only point I think needs a retort on there is the car insurance one. Car insurance costs more for individuals in groups which statistically get in more accidents. Car insurance is higher for 16-25 year olds than it is for adults, because young drivers have more accidents than older drivers. Similarly, men get in more accidents than women do, which is why their insurance is higher.

FDM is right, as inmany places it cost women more money to get a haircut due to longer hair.

well muslim terrorists commit more suicide bombings than most people but we can't profile them. Car insurance group rates are a form of profiling. If it makes sense to profile there, it also makes sense to double check an angry looking muslim man on a train, airport, etc.

hokiehunter good point! just another case of descrimination that is accepted by society and yet where all the whining liberals on the issue of car insurance?? White men -especially religious white men are the only class of people that it is PC to denigrate - why - because to the whacked out liberal PC crowd all the problems of the world are because of those evil white men.
