Hi everybody

Sorry to have not introduced myself formally, yet. I'll cut to the chase...politically, I refuse the extremes; I like common sense, decency, selflessness and tough love. I am very much, a conservative then.

I ask of the forum the opportunity to express some concerns that have distressed me of late. I do not want my conservatism associated with some unaccountable sloth's racism. Nor do I want to be painted with the same broad brush along with any closed minded, emotional infant suffering from victim syndrome. I am far from perfect. I welcome constructive criticism. I ask all, that prior to submitting a stereotype or enraged flame posting; please pause and ask yourself; what are my expectations? Who does this post serve? If you know that the post would offend people, why would you continue? Certainly our goal is not to offend.

I try to attack the actions, not the people. I try to attack only those actions that they can do something about. If I think I see fault in another, and it is something that they cannot within reason, remedy; the problem must be my inability to relate.

I almost lost all of these ideologies yesterday. I saw a car with two stickers on the rear window; one was a little rainbow triangle. the other said "who would jesus bomb?" After a few minutes, I regained my composure, though. I still haven't rid myself of feelings of frustration, disbelief, contempt and hatred for the car's owner. I'm working on it, though. I could use some support through this trying moment.

welcome to the forum. Look forward to your participation.

As for the owner of the car..... some people are well intended, their hearts are in the right place, but they just haven't a clue what they're talking about. Since they lack core truth, they have no direction and are easily led. Sad to say, that pretty well sums up liberals.

Religion, it seems, has become a political tool. Everybody loves to pick out one part of Jesus/the Bible and fixate on it because they can use it to advance their political agenda. I find it rather rediculous.

Welcome.

when your religion is the guide / basis for your life (see christianity) then your world, religion, and even politics revolve around your religion.

Welcome believer!, do your part to quell the liberal BS in the world and on this site.

And there is nothing wrong with that. You can use whatever beliefs you have to guide how you vote. Stating that no good Christian should vote Republican/Democrat because Jesus would be a Democrat/Republican is rather stupid though.

Religion, it seems, has become a political tool.Who the hell said anything about religion FDM?? Believer certainly didn't. Are you trying to start a topic without actually opening a thread? Or are you making as assumption based on his/her handle?

He certainly did. He talked about how he got angry at the "who would Jesus bomb" and gay pride bumper stickers. "who would Jesus bomb" is using religion as a political tool.

You need to take a breath and look around. There's a lot more to this world than Democrats or Republicans. It's a sad, narrow way to see the world.

we are way off topic...however, jesus may or may not be republican. but he certainly, 100% would not be democrat. democrats are trying to rid the world of jesus. so at least there is a chance he would be republican, there is a 0% chance he would be a dem.

or maybe he would be a democrat, just so he can help the world move into the horrible shape it needs to be in for the return of him. you know, one world government, shit all over the ground, whatever the democrats are for these days. it is all certainly pointing us in the right direction (as far as the bible is concerned anyways).

I wonder which one of the teletubbie's His favorite is. More importantly, how many points He gives GreenBay in the superbowl next year.

I dont know if He would be pro war, but for the right reasons... maybe.
And besides, what did God do to the Egyptians following the Israelites?
Drowned 'em all.
What did he ask Saul to do to the Amalekites?
He ASKED him to ANNIHILATE them. Destroy them and everything they owned.
And lets not forget the coming of the Israelites to the promiseland.

The Israelites went to war many times under God and seeing how God is Jesus then yea i think He would be pro war for the right reasons.

Oh and Hello believer.
