As a side note, the old "democratic party" of the late 1700's and early 1800's were more like the "republican's" of today. So while Lincoln for example is often touted as a "Republican" his ideology was that of today's democrats, although not the left wind radicals who obsconded the democratic party in the early 70's.

The hippo caught my attention before the names and things you were saying about people on the left. So I said something.
