View Full Version : This Guy Makes Enron Execs Look Like Alter boys
Kofi Annan is so dirty (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,159632,00.html), he makes the guys at Enron look like upstanding citizens. You'll never hear this coming from the liberals though. Their beloved U.N. is shame and the corruption is ubiquitous.
The oil-for-food scam is something I've commented on before (http://www.ihateliberals.com/showthread.php?t=195) and it's obvious to all but those with left-wing blinders on that there are big problems there - problems that could have easily had a major effect on the situation in Iraq. The bottom line is that Saddam Hussein had the U.N. in his back pocket and therefore he was confident the U.N. would never actually pull the trigger (pun intended) on the war in Iraq. Hussein believed he was untouchable. In fact, he was untouchable until someone with morals and above the corruption took office and took control. George Bush could not be swayed by lucrative bribes by corrupt officials.
Howard Dean can scream all day about how "evil" and "corrupt" Republicans are. He can accuse us of "never having worked an honest day in our life" but he and most Democrats will quickly look the other way when corruption in the U.N. runs rampant.
The Left will scream about Abu Ghraib, they will obsess with Guantanamo, they will point out any hint of corruption or inappropriate behavior even if the stories are untrue (just ask Dan Rather and Newsweek about that) yet remain stunningly silent about this. Why? Why would a group of people who are apparently so concerned about human rights, and so quick to point out anything that make America look bad to the rest of the world, be so silent on a story of this magnitude? Why do liberals rush to defend our enemies? Why does Rosie O'Donnell go on national television to call George Bush a war criminal, yet keeps her over sized mouth shut on something like this? Where is the news report by Sean Penn?
And of course, where is the "No Blood for Oil" crowd? Probably planning their next anti-American flag burning rally I'm guessing. But whatever you do, don't question their patriotism.

I am ready for Kofi to step down. Bill Clinton can take his spot and then I can laugh at all the conservatives that spout off about Clinton as he picks up the pieces successfully.
Do I need a new thread for this one? You will be the judge, IHL.

Chi I took your last question and moved it to "Hillary win?". Its a question worthy of added debate, but to avoid hijacking this thread to discuss it, I opted to move it.
Clinton will just move us closer to a one world government. He isn't going to change a thing.

Bill Clinton can not take over as Secretary General of the U.N. due to the fact that the trial of Slobodan Milosevic has not ended. In addition to that Eastern European Nations who have a lot of stroke , to say, in the voting will not give up their values, virtues, and morals to elect a pathological liar into the head seat of the U.N.
Bill Clinton was and is along with his wife and everyone that supported him, the downfall of American society. Why would we want him to be the down fall of the international community?

It always amazes me when people mention the name "Clinton". A former president who not only embarrased the country by his adulterous acts in the oval office, but he was IMPEACHED!!!
In regards to liberals and the corrupt U.N., it continues to be frustrating to all republicans who enjoy the news or the morning paper because news like this is never reported. As a society, we are more concerned with stories about Michael Jackson than we are about this country's defense or our troops overseas. But i'll tell you one thing: The minute something goes wrong where Bush can be blamed, it will be plastered over every news station and every front page in the country. Of course, this will probably never change. So instead of ever visiting cnn.com, i will continue to do my stay updated through ihl.com.
clinton? pick up the pieces successfully? clinton accomplished less than any other president in history, even the ones that only got to serve one term. the only thing he accomplished was getting his **** waxed wasting our time with bjgate.
the only reason clinton would take this job is because he has run through all the interns in the united states and he probably needs to find some attractive foreign ladies. although...finding attractive women doesnt seem to be anything he is good at anyways...hillary? monica? he was the president and all the ass he could pull was monica? sad sad sad. but then again, she probably looked like miss america next to hillary.

Nah... he managed to effectively gut our military. Thats one accomplishment worthy for the books
But on the original subject here: None will ever blow up the story. Why? Because other nations and the socialists and other forms of democrats have successfully given the world a common enemy. The US. So anything shady they do will go unnoticed. Besides they all want this global nation that the UN works so hard for.
If that would ever happen within my lifetime, I have but one word.

clinton would not be elected to the U.N. not because of his past history. It would be for the fact that he is an american. Most other countries in the world would not elect an american to that high fo a position becuase the think america has too much power. This is the same reason we could not see an american pope.

Okay, Kofi can be anything. He can be Kofi The Scumbag Unemployed Target That Failed at the UN. All I want is Bill Clinton to run this "liberal" organization. Hell, Bolton can have his job and I will defend his right to have it. Just as long as Bill gets to run this joint.

If u want bill running a position of power again expect to see some adultery. Im sure hell try some foriegn interns this time. He let so many Americans die during the peacekeeping missions in somalia by not giving them the support they needed. He should never be in a position of power. He is a horrible leader but not as bad as dean hes really bad. Someone else should replace Kofi. An American would be good but the french would then form a seperatist union and a war much like star wars will occur. I dont know of any good candidates to run the U.N.
